JVC DLA-X5900 Review - Has This Projector Cracked HDR? 

3D in any 2018 TV would make my day! Now I'm juggling between LG E6 which is hard to find anymore, especially in 65 inch and Sony ZD9 which I cannot afford if the price won't come down.

Yousuf But there already are 3D OLEDs, but even if what you are saying is true, then fine give us some 3D in new LCD TV's then. Better that than nothing. A real market opportunity is being missed here. If even one manufacturer had one 3D model, they would get a lot of sales because of that.

kaj kajsen And the investment in 3D movies. Don't like being jerked around by manufacturers and studios. And here is what I don't get: They still offer a lot of 3D content on movies sold in other countries, so its not like they have not already gone to the expense. So the cost is absolutely negligible to just include those disc for the U.S. too. And why don't we have streaming 3D anymore? We used to, and again negligible cost for a product already produced that I am willing to pay for. Meanwhile I am NOT willing to pay for 2D movies, particularly superhero and animated ones. So right off the top that will be lost sales to them, for literally almost zero additional cost to them. It's so stupid.

Air walker Hey. I just bought one of these beasts for my Xbox one. Did you have any problem with HDR color settings when playing UHD discs or 4k apps like netflix? When my unit auto detects HDR the color and contrasts goes way off

Hi I have just bought this model. Did you have any problems using the Xbox one to view HDR content? When my unit detects HDR from the Xbox one X it switches to HDR color mode and everything looks terrible. The brightness drops to less than 50% and the color looks washed out. I have tried every color setting but nothing fixes the problem?? Any suggestions? Thanks

for this price range you have better newer projectors with more lumens and better hdr

yep he talks too much about technical stuff and is too much focused on hdr brightness while uniformity is more important for the whole picture rather than having the sun shining with 4k nits. just saying
