Just bought this JVC for $150 local and now finished recapping entire deck, replacing Cap belt, cleaning heads, demag etc. Same day, I bought a Nakamichi 680 for $200 and going to do the same process for the NAK.....Wondering which deck you like better between the two? JVC has better specs on paper. Curious your thoughts. Only going to keep one.
@@zulkarnin Yes that was my impression as well, watching your Videos of both.....I will compare further once my Nak 680 is completed. Super Thank you for your response Sir!
Hi, I have a faulty one of these - play stops after a few seconds after being pressed. REW /FF works fine. I tried opening it up, but I can't get the Volume Input level bar off and I'm scared of using too much force. I downloaded the service manual but it's not very clear.
Yes it is, for one TD V711 uses much higher quality components and wiring and heads, and better noise damping, it is like comparing a Toyota Camry with Toyota Lexus line.
@@zulkarnin ok that makes sense thank you I've been looking for good 3 head decks and I found mine for cheap but I found these other models and I was just wondering
It does sound good. But I can’t judge the quality just by listening on the computer, one thing is for sure that you have a very good taste in music, I did listen to your other videos.
JVC Super digifine series are the best JVC ever made, specially Td -v1010 Td-v711 is second best. The difference is that V1010 has remote control and it is very heavy to reduce vibration.
@@zulkarnin I have an old JVC-TDW30 very simple deck but sounds very good too make very good recordings and play very good sound I really like JVC is a underrated brand that have great cassete decks 👍
Nuno Azevedo .Deepbreath. Yes JVC are good but super digifine is in different level. It did outperforme some of my nakamichi, and most of other cassette decks that I have , except tandberg and revox and few others.
