I disregarded my critical, analytical thinking due to a deep-rooted longing to feel and experience belonging, but luckily I woke up before it was too late.Blessings to you and everybody else on the channel 🙏The moment they are convinced that the Bible student is really on the hook, they lose interest in that person as an individual. The so-called cohesion is just one of many myths within "The Truth"

The last thing that the governing body want is for their members to develop thinking ability, If they had thinking ability they would not be in the cult .We saw this pompous man developing his thinking ability when before the London enquiry into CSA and was asked a difficult question that he didn`t expect. He looked up to the sky while he worked out how to lie his way out of it. This man was always ambitious to get to the top of the organisation and was rewarded for his performance by being shipped to the American headquarters and given a position there one step closer to the elite nine. His ultimate aim is to get on the governing body and by spouting this nonsense it will help with this, showing he is indeed a company man.

@@ucanliv4ever In reply to your sarcastic comment, no I don`t have to read minds as I knew this man years ago when visiting my congregation and it was very clear what his aims were in the organisation. You may find it interesting to see what he was prepared to do to achieve his aims by researching his part in the United Nations scandal. He was the one instructing elders, when questioned about this, to say the only reason it happened was so that they could have access to the UN library, which of course was total nonsense. Also have a look at his part in the London enquiry into CSA, it might surprise you the lengths he went to in misleading the committee.

I wasn't being sarcastic. But here again your "clairvoyant " powers are distorting your ability to think critically. You somehow just know what his aims were in the organization because it suits your own personal bias and agenda. Meanwhile what effect is your personal vendetta having on the preaching work or the unity of the congregation. You have condemned yourself. I've looked extensively into the so-called scandal with the UN and found nothing out of the ordinary. I found one 49 second clip of his response in London and here again there is no compelling argument from you and no one will agree with you unless they have their own personal ax to grind. If you want I'd be happy to review his testimony if you provide some linkage, but this fishing trip will never pan out, because for one thing anything and everything decided in a meeting of the elders is confidential. So we have no way of knowing what was said or what was decided. If an announcement is made, it never goes into detail, so we are left only with speculation and that my ex friend cannot persuade a jury. It's against the law and it is a violation of constitutional guarantees of freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Your clairvoyant powers are deceiving you. Your reasoning has no place in a court of law but you might find a lynch party that wants you

@@ucanliv4ever I think I have an advantage over you. I spent over 40 years as a JW, 25 of them as an elder. In that time I gave talks at assemblies, sat on committees and got to know many of those at the top of the English branch and unfortunately got to know the inner workings of the organisation. It was this that started to cause me concerns over the way serious matters were handled or rather not handled so eventually decided to leave of my own accord. Since then, without any axe to grind, I have done a lot of research into the origins and background of JWs that I was not allowed to do while being part of the religion. So I have seen the religion from inside and out and been able to use my critical thinking ability to make decisions. By your supportive comments about the religion I would assume you are a JW and have closed views from the inside only based solely on what the organisation tells you is true. By basing my views on research from trusted sources and proven facts I am not condemning myself I am actually freeing myself from control by men who actually admit that they are not inspired or infallible. So what does that make them?

I really enjoy your insight to this cult. I don’t understand what keeps my in-laws in this cult when they’re the only ones on both sides of the family that are JWs. It looks like all the good ones have left and whatever remains are the ones that will never wake up.

Hi, Elaine! Just had a visit from two brothers who wanted to talk to me about my decision to stop being a unbaptized publisher First a brother came alone, he asked if it was all right if he returned with another brother. Since I knew what it was about, I said it went well. When both brothers were here, we talked about my decision for a while before one of them asked if I had really made up my mind. When I gave an affirmative answer, he only said that two witnesses were needed because the Bible requires it. In my opinion, it is unnecessarily complicated, but now I am out

Here's a question!!!!!!!! Which miracle of Jesus Christ inspires me the most?? It's the one where a woman had problems bleeding, she touches Jesus's clouds and BOOM they're gone!!!!!!!!!!!!! I always ask people how does that even happen??? They tell me she believed in Jesus. So how about that??? Because this woman believed in Jesus all issues left her body. You never know what could happen when you mix with Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If that experience happened with her, it could happen with any of us as well.

Get your wife to read whole texts of scripture and go over it. Also do what Elaine does , use her teaching of putting the verses in context . Pray, Pray also. God is real and can wake her up! Blessings!

As i see, there is very few thinking opportunities in JW organization. They can't even adjust their preaching times to people who are interested in their preaching even though i haven't yet seen or heard that governing body told them to preach only on saturdays between 10:30 am and 12:00 pm and on tuesdays between 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm. I know that they have also 2 meetings per week. But what they do in all other time (regarding that they mostly work in part time jobs and till recently they had to do 70 hours of ministry per month)? I found a big lie with my thinking ability here even though that i was never a JW but because of their intrusive preaching with insisting on hours which don't suit me, i decided to research what JW really are and found out how bad JW really are. I am sorry for their real audience, who might be mostly bored people who haven't anything to do in their lives or sick/depressed people who can't do anything in their lives, have few or no social events, social contacts, no money to go shopping, mourning people who fell into depression due to mourning, and are at home most of the time.

Yes they do suck in people that are down and out. I have talked with some that they had lost a loved one so they were looking for comfort. Another said he was questioning the meaning of life.

According to JW teaching Isaac, Rebecca, Jacob and Esau must have lived approximately 2.000 BC. I doubt that they already knew that Jesus will come 2.000 years before he was even born. I just wonder why god needed so much time to send Jesus. Why didn't he send in 2.000 BC or shortly after this date already if it was his intent in 2.000 BC already? 2.000 years which elapsed between these dates is as much as it elapsed between Tiberius's reign in Roman empire and today. Meanwhile: Roman empire fell, Germans, Slavs and other European nations migrated to present day locations, medieval kingdoms rose and fell, Americas were discovered and colonized, industrial revolution, scramble for Africa, 1st and 2nd world war, technological advancement, etc. Today's world is very different from the world in Tiberius time, it might be as different as it was different between 2.000 bc and Tiberius's time...

Once you get him involved in your life there is no telling where you will end up!!!!!!! Sadly all cults today do not have it simply because of the fact they operate on their own thoughts and views. I suspect that some things depicted in the video didn't even exist in time when Rebecca, according to JW bible chronology lived. I think that anyone who has a bit more detailed knowledge in history and archaeology would find a lot of errors in their videos.

Kayla , that is not the problem. These people can not think for themselves and are in a dangerous org that is riddled with csa . The bible is not about being nice and clean cut and putting on a front , it's about being transformed by the blood of Yeshua Hamashia , being declared righteous in the blood. We have no righteousness of our own and the Father can not look onto us unless we are washed in the blood.

@@fernandodeleon4115 the JWs have the new mixed with the old. They're works based and do law also. Jesus only attoned for the sins of Adam and the rest is up to you being good enough. Only the GB and certain annointed are going to heaven but most believe they're only good enough for paradise earth. They also believe everyone gets a second chance in the 1000 year period to hear about their god Jehovah.

Once again making it about not leaving the religion. It's like every meeting and broadcast is about NOT leaving the religion. It is unhealthy and tiring to listen to. What if every interaction with my PIMI wife was about making sure she isn't going to dump me? It would drive her bonkers and finally would think about leaving me so she wouldn't have to hear me rant about not leaving me anymore. And then tell her that her life would have no meaning if she ever left me. It would be an unhealthy, abusive cycle.
