It's not just Joss' excellent manners or people skills that made them listen. And it wasn't just Joss' bible knowledge either. They listened because Joss spoke the truth, through the Holy Spirit. It was the combination of this, his knowledge and great manners that held them captive. Oh they were held captive alright. I will not award them patience skills. I don't know them. And they listened too. Did they listen to learn? Only time will tell that part of the story. But they will never ever forget that conversation, whether the real truth is in them or not! Joss, I am so touched to be your sister, in Christ. ❤

This elder is attempting to defend what he himself clearly does not believe. It is impossible to argue with Joss’ logic about the identity of the faithful slave scripturally. Anyone who is truly honest saw the GB appointing themselves as the faithful slave as anything other than seizing control of the organization. Joss, well done. I am proud to count you as my brother in Christ.

Many thanks and well done on another very good and informative video. I must say Joss handled himself and the situation very well. His respectful and polite, kind manner was a lesson to us all, he gave a very good account of himself, well done Joss. The Elders were sadly and expectedly true to form and indoctrination, never really listening to Joss and processing what he said nor the very valid points he made. The only hope we have is when these Elders personally reflect on their discussion with Joss, they may just find some grains of truth in his words of wisdom and it may trigger their own critical thinking. I did like the point you made Eric about the Elder using God's personal name so many times. For many years i have questioned the repetitive nature of the use of God's name as I reflected on the disciples of Jesus and the Jews own reticence in using it out of reverence to The Almighty, it never did quite sit right with me. I did note some time before awakening that there was a recent tendency to refer to the rank and file JWs as "The Friends" and could never really understand it, while it did grate on my mind. I now know why from (in no small part) listening to your excellent discourses. On the subject of the use of God's name I was also struck by the fact that even in JWs own bible Jesus never once is quoted as using the name (for obvious reasons) himself, which in of itself is rather telling too. And I agree, when Jesus instructed his followers on how to pray he did not instruct them to address God as "Our friend" but rightly as "Our Father". Thanks for another excellent video.

Is it truth and accurate original letters and writings of the new testament ~ do not mention the Hebrew god’s name ? Jesus referred to their god as a “manslayer”, etc. ( After all he did slay thousands.. ..), Jesus certainly did not portray such a monster ~ did he ! Every ex-JW video that recorded a judicial meeting in progress, here on YT; reveals the same blind devotion to the 'organization', 'Jehovah's organization', or the "faithful and discreet slave". "Do you still swear loyalty to these 'imaginary characters"??? Doesn't matter if you pledge allegiance to Jesus Christ and his father Jehovah; the one who Jesus worships. What's always more important is that you pledge allegiance to the 'governing body' of the JW's; because after over 130 years of Christians wanting to be like the "Faithful steward", they suddenly drew the supposition that ONLY THE GOVERNING BODY WAS A FAITHFUL SLAVE! It just sickens me that JW elders lack the scriptural maturity to see that THEY AND THE GOVERNING BODY have become just like the VERY MEN THAT JW'S HAVE WARNED THEIR MEMBERS ABOUT! Apostate infiltrators; "setting themselves up as gods in the temple of THE GOD, false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into angels of light." 2 Thess. 2: 4, 10;....2 Corinth. 11: 13-15 And that these dimwit elders totally ignore the following scriptures and more: Psalm 146: 3-6,...Jeremiah 17: 5;.....1 Corinth. 1: 12, 13----".....each one of you says, "I belong to Paul, or I belong to Cephas; or I belong to Apollos; and 'I belong to Christ'. (we could add, for the sake of the principle; "I belong to the organization;" or I belong to the 'faithful and discreet slave.'"!!)...."but the Christ exists divided. Paul was not impaled for you. Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?".......Or were WE baptized in the name of the governing body? Did the governing body impale themselves for us? Were we baptized in the name of "the organization"?? (I guess in recent years; they've actually added the "organization" words to baptismal candidate's vows!)

It was a sincere question; as I did not know that the JW org. changed the words in the baptismal vows talk again. Actually the questions changed again in 2019 Org book "Have you repented of your sins, dedicated yourself to Jehovah, and accepted his way of salvation through Jesus Christ? Do you understand that your baptism identifies you as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in association with Jehovah’s organization" Even Holy spirit is not involved now

One of the most telling points in the whole piece for me when the Elder tries to dissmiss the point that Joss made about The JWs involvement with The UN. He seemed quite happy to gloss over it and even dissmiss it as sonething trivial and of no or very little consequence or concern ! There can be no better way of illustrating their lack of understanding the situation nor the significance of such a betrayal ! They as always stick to the company line almost like party politics ! It really does show them up as Hypocrites because they would expect everyone else they meet in the course of their ministry toexhibit some kind of critical thinking when they themselves refuse to do so. When we ask why we must answer that they are almost like a robot, there is no connection with truth or right, just simply hard wired like a robot through indoctrination. They really are like the thought police of George Orwell's "1984" book and film, conditioned to think and act without thought, humanity or presence of mind. They like me (if they ever wake up) will be so amazed and even embarrassed by the reality and wonder how on God's earth they didn't see it sooner ! It seems so obvious once the blinkers come off.

I have a series of videos exposing the fallacies of the Trinity doctrine. More are coming, but there are other issues more urgent pending. It is an old debate, but the point is that the research is out there is you care to examine in critically. I have. I've heard all the arguments, many times over, and I see the flaw in all of them, so while I appreciate you are motivated from a place of sincerity, there's nothing you can add to the Trinity argument that hasn't been aired for centuries.

Relatively recently, WT teaches that Christ will only inspect the Governing Body when He comes in the future in judgment during the Great Tribulation… and He WILL find them to have been faithful and He WILL appoint them “over all his belongings” “When Jesus comes for judgment during the great tribulation, he **will** find that the faithful slave has been loyally dispensing timely spiritual food to the domestics. Jesus **will then delight in making the second appointment** - over all his belongings. Those who make up the faithful slave **will get this appointment** when they receive their heavenly reward, becoming corulers with Christ.” (w13 7/15 p.25 par.18) Given the backdrop of their erroneous claims over a 100+ year period, instead of saying humbly that they are doing their best and that they really hope that Jehovah will be pleased with them when He inspects them, they have the presumption to claim that He WILL find them faithful. The Governing Body have not yet been appointed as the Faith and Discreet Slave, not only have they claimed to be in the past when they were not the FDS, they still continue to do so. Amazing, it is a foregone conclusion, in spite of all of Jesus’ warnings to the contrary. The passage in Luke 12 shows that the (favourable) judgement of the servant is NOT a forgone conclusion (for the disciples, the Governing Body or anyone). The parable discusses the punishments of (i) a servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows and (ii) a servant who does not know the master’s will and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. Note that more time is spent discussing the various punishments of unsatisfactory servants than the reward of the faithful one. Even Matt 24 discusses the possibility of the servant being punished for “lording it over” his fellow servants. “Jesus will be delighted in putting us in charge of all his possessions”. The decision has already been made, in advance of His judgement, by the Governing Body on Christ’s behalf, it has effectively been snatched out of Christ’s hands. He WILL choose them when he comes. In effect, it would appear that they answer to no one, not even to Christ Himself.

The host of this video channel was a JW elder for 40 years. Do you not think he has internal regrets over the pain he has caused others who were disfellowshipped for less than serious reasons or without mercy? As an ex-elder myself; I do. As thousand of men like me. I cannot speak for Joss, here; but since this is only recent step in his life; I'm sure those regrets will hit him sooner or later. The important thing for a Christian to remember is, will I forgive the person? And up to how many times? Jesus told his disciples "forgive a person up to seventy-seven times", as matter or emphasis on the point he was making. Jesus forgave serious sinners who had made a practice of their sins for years before they repented. The Apostle Paul, in his inspired letter to the Corinthians, gave us the Godly definition of the quality of "love" and what it entails. Among other things, "love does not keep account of the injury;....love hopes all things, believes all things." greek language expositors define these words with the implication that love hopes for positive outcome and changes in a person's conduct; it "believes all things", not by being credulous, but by believing that a good outcome for even the worst of sinners is possible. (1 Corinth. 13: 4-8)

An abused brother in Australia blamed the whole anointed brothers left on earth and attempted to take them to court for their flawed policies on dealing with child abuse. They were at that time in Watchtower history all "The slave" and The Gov. Body saw that they were exposed financially so changed the slave understanding to just The Governing Body in order to protect their financial assets, sound familiar ?

@@BeroeanVoicesWe are also witnesses of God. 1 Cor 15:15 (ASV): "we are found false witnesses of God; because we witnessed of God that he raised up Christ." Rev 11:7 (CEV): "After the two Witnesses have finished preaching God's message..." Rev 11:7 (Remedy): "When they have finished telling the world the truth about God..." To be a witness about Jesus' resurrection is to be a witness of God (1 Cor 15:15).

The Scripture speak no where of others than Christ himself directing his people Matthew 28 tells us by saying the he would be with them all the Days until the conclusion of the system of things, the means in which he has accomplished this is by the Holy spirit, not any man or men pretending to be his successor just like the popes and Mormon Quorum of twelve and a so called "Governing Body" the word cannot be found anywhere in the Scriptures has led people to believe .

If Jesus was observing to see who was being a faithful slave, he certainly wouldn't have picked J.F. Rutherford! Rutherford's interpretations/predictions were completely wrong. The whole religion is based on falsehood. How can any thinking person base their faith on someone who was so wildly wrong? Except for the fact that the average JW won't research anything because the GB tells them they don't need to because, "we have done it for you." Don't think, we will do that for you too! It's no wonder they tell them to search out the lowly, (uneducated) ones; it ensures the people will listen only to what they say and won't have the intelligence or desire to look any further! It's why they have so many videos for impressionable children. If you tell someone the same thing for decades of their life it becomes "truth." I thank God every day he woke me up!

@Sportliveonline If that were the case, if they advertised what they are really like, then I doubt my parents would have entered, and I doubt they would have allowed me to be raised as one. But isn't that true of all religion?

Just one. The individual in question left his wife and posted photos of her all over the area warning others to shun her. He even posted photos of her outside shops to try to stop her from shopping. So yes guilty as charged.

Yes I suppose it does defy your belief, the question is does it defy the facts. In order to assess that evidence must be put forward. Do you have that or are you just relying on belief We are all entitled to believe what we want to and you have that right.
