I adored the spirit in the media centre. I am 50 and never seen anything like that in my life what comes to Finnish language and a Finnish artist giving vibes to an international audience. Lordi, that was a long ago and times were different, and I do not think they made people dance and sing along in Finnish. That is absolutely insane what is happening right now... as Finns are not at all so confident about ourselves usually, but I guess today we are those guys and gals. We very rarely support any Finns like we are supporting Käärijä now, so... It is crazy. It is party. Good luck to y'all and peace.

Omg be confident, what a beautiful country and language, you have people in Australia screaming very bad butchered Finnish trying to sing along with Käärijä while driving in their cars, every other non English speaking country should take note, your native languages are way better than English.
You can not understand how bizarre it is for a Finnish person to hear non-Finnish people talking/singing in Finnish - LOTS of people. Because that just does not happen. Ever. Rather heartwarming that people are so enthusiastic and like the song so much that they want to learn the lyrics.
When she started singing I was thst oh, she was finnish, not from somewhere else, and testissä why they are supporting Finland like that. It was really good finnish.
I was a bit disappointed when Finland didn't won, but when I saw these videos of how much everyone loved finnish language song and sing along it made me so happy. This is so precious and awsome! 🎉 💚
Europe really needs this positive energy.. The war in Ukraine is very heavy and this just feel like a positive way to unite europe in song and dance and that's what eurovision is all about.. its crazy its party!

I watched your video reacting to Loreen in the press room and let me say this (as a Finn): I won’t be mad if she wins cause she’s an icon in Eurovision history and she and her performance is deserving of it… but Sweden (including Loreen) has won so many times in recent history and Finland has only one win in the entire history of the competition. Both Loreen and Käärijä are unique in their own way but i’m really hoping that Europe and the whole world will give us this win for once and not let it go to Sweden again. the only even slightly tricky thing about those lyrics (aside from the phrases where mushed several words together) is remember the difference between aa and aa with umlauts 🥰 Ive had about 85 -90% of them memorized for over a month
I’ve never seen so many people (crowd and behind the scenes) behind a song before! Such a brilliant performance by Finland compared to the very formulaic and dated Swedish entry that only won because of so-called expert juries rather than 71% of the public vote that went to Käärijä.
