I saw New Edition with K-Ci and Jo-Jo as openers in the mid-00's. K-Ci was definitely still in his feelings about Mary. Started singing her name as an adlib during one of their songs that have nothin to do with Mary. Pretty sure that he was drunk became he came into the theater on his bodyguard's back and needed help to get on the stage. 🙄
K-Ci got in his feelings, but why wasn't he in his feelings to apologize to Mary for all those times he allegedly got into physical altercations with her. Mary definitely deserves her apology. At the point when DB slept with MJB, he was a young teenage man, freshly signed to Suge and Death Row. I'm not sure that he had any type of relationship with KCi or Jojo yet at that time. All that being said, I still think it was pretty gross on the part of MJB to sleep with a teenager, and it disturbs me that everyone is dragging DB for hooking up with her instead of vice versa...

Jodeci always express appreciation to their fans. I even won a contest Dalvin had for his new song a couple years ago and he reached out and sent me some Jodeci T Shirts. Always was down to earth, kind and respectful toward me whenever we communicated. Prior to that he responded to my comments on his page. I have more stories, I could go on and on but lesson of the story is its probably not a good idea to sleep with someones girl especially if you work with them or for them. 🤷♀️

Overlapping time frame. It wasn't explained correctly. Mary was witj K-ci in early 90s. DB probably got with her in the mid 90s when the relationship was already done. So DB put that skeleton in his book that came out some years ago. He was doing background vocals for Jodeci. K-ci saw & probably got in his feelings about it.
