If I may suggest - don't forget to put some soundproof mat to increase the comfort in this one. I would put it everywhere: roof, floor, sides, and the wheel arch. I would than put a nice new carpet on it and riding of if will be so enjoyable!

Dude everytime i watch your vids it just awesome. This chill vibe makes me feel like everything on earth is ok. I live in Czech republic and corona situation is really bad here. Looks like you have a carburetor to rebuild 😅 the rev hang can be caused by the throttles inside the carburetor being simply stuck after all the time sitting. Sometimes it helps to clean all up, lubricate the throttles and give it a few times open and close. Let's hope no fuel needles are stuck aswell 😪 If you need some wheels from Japan just hit me up.
Actually I am glad that you got Kevin. Now you can bring more carpets to the JDM Carpet sale 😅. These little vans are sadly underated, I found two Subarus about a month ago in Austria pretty cheap and I must say I was really tempted. I hope the Daihatsu will serve you well and delivery many carpets 👍👍👍.
the carb is probably flooding the float thats why the revs are hanging up high in the rpms. and you might need to adjust the pilot screw and base screw of the card so proper amount of of petrol is supplied not more not less.
