Great review. I’ve the 2534 and 7 months into owning. It’s been nothing but rock solid. Had been with me to Thailand, China, and the US, all checked luggage and not one issue. It’s great to hear their customer service came up trumps again by replacing your ballhead. I’ve seen this mentioned several times for any issues that may arise. I’ve actually just ordered their version of the Gorillapod, and glad I found it before buying Joby’s, which is known to fail. I couldn’t risk both losing my camera and glass while wrapped around a railing on top of a skyscraper, and more importantly the certain death of anyone at ground level. The rubber legs looks far better than Jobys linked ball legs, it’s so ridiculous cheap too at £14.
I enjoyed this interesting review and the problems you've mentioned hasn't happened to me yet and I've used it alot. I'm impressed with this tripod. Only issue I've had was the hook wasn't tightly on and came away almost lost it. I'm glad I did buy this as it's been what I've been looking for in a tripod.
The tripod leg with the padded grip is removable, and it can convert into a working monopod by removing the Arca-type-compatible ball head from the tripod and threading it onto the monopod
Hi , good video. I got a TM2515T1, monopod leg thread was deformed out of box . Was replaced..... after lots of emails and photos, seemed forever. After a few months mono leg got loose thread locked in (don't use it), few more months in leg section parted company ( still use it). It's a "good" tripod as such, designed good, priced good, stable even with nikon D800 + 80-200D shame about QA ... Buy cheap buy twice!

Probably not. It’s a bit light but could be used with some decent weights however the ball head does have a spring to it even when locked down. With a better ball head and weights definitely.
No! no! what I don't understand is why you kept it after all those issues all that money you paid ,a refund sounds like the order of the day, it looks cheap and frail I have a tripod I purchase on a trip to England about 20 years ago paid around 30 pounds thought that was pricy but still using it today no problems at all dropped it multiple times even fell of my motorcycle at highs speeds just picked it up and continued.
Well as it’s an items that’s designed to be used id expect it to hold up to normal wear and tear. It’s not be subject to anything more than what I would put any tripod though and none of my others have failed the same. However to be fair to K and F they they reached out to me and we are talking on how avoid this moving forward.
Thx for the video. It's very informative as I have ordered the same one since I couldn't spend a fortune on a tripod. I think I've read someone's comment on amazon saying the same leg problems after he was using it for two years.
