The video assumes that the viewer knows the purpose of this upgrade. I do mostly cutting, in fact that's all I do. I do not engrave. What's missing from this video is the purpose and advantage to the upgrade. Why should I upgrade and what do I do with the adjustable focus lens? Does this option eliminate the need to adjust the bed height? Does this setup provide meaningful functionality to someone like me that only does cutting?
This video was made to be used inside my website. There are 5 advantages of my lens system. the lens is glued.1- it is held in the best possible way to prevent crystal stress.2- it is extremely easy to clean.3- you can't put it in backwards.4- you cant damage it taking it in and out ot clean it. 5- the tolerances i maintain on this assembly means you never have to do a ramp test. and it also does the adjustable focus, and aceptes my alignment tool, and is 100% made in the USA, and I make the best optics in the world! american-photonics.myshopify.com/collections/mark-and-engrave-co2-and-fiber-laser
Just received my adjustable head for my k40. Could not be more happy with the quality. However i am trying to set some standards for how high the head should be above the work surface. I am cutting 3mm acrylic mostly. Any recommendations?
