I met Turtle Back in the days. We used to meet at the Rosecrans skating ring. Me and Turtle became tight because both of our names was Kenneth. I used to make him laugh cracking jokes and we would have fun all night long acting a fool and getting at the girls..He love to laugh and he was a very down good Brother . I'm from St.Louis....OG Turtle reminds me so much my big cousin Steve. His voice and mannerisms. I'm noticing alot of patterns....alot of the OG's have roots in Louisiana and Texas. This great migration of Black People from the South who went up North & out West sent a shockwave through the Universe. Everytime I see this stories about Black People migrating out the South.......Their children land in these foreign places whether its Detroit, Los Angeles, New York, etc. These children rise to the level of GODS and becomes legends of Folklore. From the OG Turtles- To the Temptations of Motown and the Bumpy Johnsons of Harlem, NY. There was something about the spirit of our ancestors going through what they went through in the South and bringing the Spirit to other places outside the South.
