Always a pleasure and a perfect way for a beginner to discover a friendly off road trail. Hope you guys are having a great riding season so far. Weather is so unpredictable, makes it hard to plan longer trips. *T4W*
Yes it's great for a leisurely ride away from traffic and we enjoy the scenery every single time! Very relaxing and a good way for beginners to get their feet wet off road.
It's definitely beginner friendly, has great views and is relaxing. So far we haven't run into very many users on it so it's nice and quiet just the way we like it 😎 There's also the TCAT that you can explore for more adventures. Ride safe and hope you have a nice upcoming weekend!
Thanks for the scenic ride and info- I liked the real estate tip! The K & P is on my list of rides this summer. A burger and maybe some suds is a great way to celebrate the end of a successful ride! 😜
Our pleasure! It's a fun ride with quite a few water areas to enjoy. Yes that property looked nice and we were day dreaming about having a place on the water like that...checked it out when we got home and confirmed it was slightly out of our price range lol. Absolutely! That burger was pretty good.
Thanks! Absolutely that's what we were working on. It's a lot to take in and remember your first time off road and into the wet/mud. For the amount of seat time he's had, he is doing amazing! *T4W*
Hi, we haven't tried that one yet. We've been lucky so far and haven't seen to many users on the trail so dust is manageable so far. Sand is just not fun lol Definitely a work out when in deep sand. Limerick Forest has a sand section and it's deep, but still a fun area to explore. Hope you have a great weekend!
Have you had any issues regarding enforcement of the bylaw 2022-0033 regarding the use of 'dirt bikes' on the trail? I have a SxS plus a DRZ400. The way the bylaw is worded, I am not permitted to ride the DR on the trail.
Hi, not at all but we've only been on there 2-3 times. When we did our research a few years ago... as long as you were plated and insured you were good to go. Just checked after reading your comment and it seems they've changed quite a few things but the signage didn't reflect yet. We've seen many different types of users on there including mini vans, pick up trucks, Jeeps and the likes. There's also quite a few sections that definitely doesn't qualify as groomed and maintained. I would definitely give it a try and just check the signage when you get on the trail as all "entrances" have to be clearly marked. Good luck, wish they included dual sport a bit more as times have evolved but not so our society.
