Keeping it alive Wonderful wonderful song, timeless ofc I'm going to rehab for six months and worry about how I will spend my new life after I'm clean!. Although I'm pretty much all alone in this I know I can do it.
Belgie sowieso hartstikke goede muziek pop/rock/house van K's Choice tot Silver en van Jacques Brel tot Vaya Con Dios goed zo complimentje voor de buren!!!!!!!!!
Not an addict is also a very good song, but the radio and a lot of coverbands played it too much. Can't hear it anymore. This one is great as well and not as simple to figger out
How come your videos have so little views and comments...? Both music and lyrics are awesome! K's Choice has a very special place in my memories, so albeit 17 years too late: thanks so much for your music!
It is a song about psychosis and multiple personality disorder. It was never meant to cheer anyone up. But it does not make me feel somber. In fact it feels warm, comforting and enchanting. Because although it strongly reminds me of the time I was deeply, suicidally depressed, severely dissociated and quite psychotic, of such ink black darkness, it also reminds me of the enchantment, the zeal & the passion in me that helped me survive that profound darkness and make it out the other end. Not only did it enable me to make it back to earth from the seventh circle of hell; It enabled me to keep going, on to the seventh circle of heaven. It reminds me of how resiliant and strong I am and of how persevering and not giving up was absolutely worth the effort and suffering.
@@VictoriaWonders Well I am convinced that at some point the singer has experienced psychosis, because the lyrics and the video clip express it; And I recognize it, because I too experienced psychosis and paranoya. Paranoya is also clearly expressed in the video clip. Do you see how everyone in the video clip seems to be following the main character? And how they all seem to conspire against him? Talking to eachother in FBI headsets to communicate his movements to eachother? That is pure paranoya. That's why he is running. He thinks they are all out to get him. The absurdity of seeing people dance with very disturbing facial expressions, wrapping themselves in toilet paper and fighting eachother with cardboard swords, that is psychosis: The restlessness of the lyrics, the music and the videoclip is also quite typical of psychosis The imagination goes out of control and the line between reality and imagination fades, rendering the psychotic person deeply confused and terrified. In the lyrics there is one line, leading up to the chorus, that hints at Multiple Personality Disorder too. This line to be specific: "Where I'll go, what I'll become or who I am or what I'll be I'll never know" When you never know who you are and what you'll become, that implies that there is more than 1 of you inside of your head. For a few weeks I've lived in close proximity to a girl that had multiple personality disorder. It's like a switch would flip and BAM, she was a totally different person. .
@@allonifrah3465 its very interesting becaus i have schizophrenia and probably this is why i related on such a deep level to the song so deeply felt. even i was not psychotic at that time. it explains why for met hank you!
You didn't know her (now him), and you never will. Therefor, you are irrelevant (and so am I ofcourse) and so is your opinion. Anyway, you'll be missing fuck all. Does it even matter? Kééérel bewerk uw bericht nog eens en verwijder die zwaar overbodige negatieve smiley
