K's vs 6 liters Long Beach Sprint Nationals 2015 

So now l see why the 6ltr was going so well . An Australian driver . Haven't been 2 the boat races in Australia 4 many yrs . Both our Blown Alcohol & 6ltr drivers r pretty decent. There were 2 older guys from Australia 🇦🇺. One in a boat GN Rayson Craft whose name is Bob Thurgar was a sensational steerer & the other guy was in in an Aussie Boat 🚢 430 cu inch Oldsmobile with his own heads . Boat went like a rocket ship . The boat was called Liberty 🗽 & his name was Brian McCosker . RIP . Unfortunately he passed away while testing from memory. Both were fantastic drivers . I personally love the Beismeyer/ Revenge K Boats , but the GN Rayson Craft was & still is a very very close 2nd . Probably a coin toss 2 be honest.

Looks like the 1st and 2nd finishers were a K and a 6 liter. Interesting race....closer than I would have predicted.

Go the 6ltrs! Vdrive video roductions headed downunder next year by any chance?

1st race . Gee the guy who came 2nd in the 6ltr drove spectacularly well or the K boat drives weren't really on it . Gr8 race

A seriously well set up K boat is about 40-50mph quicker than a 6ltr. Top speed of a 6ltr 100-110mph tops. A K Boat 140- 150+

I tuned Bob Zabady's 555 kboat couldn't keep it in the water.

The Beismeyer Flat Bottom K Boats look so much better on the Water than our Australian 6 ltrs . The 6ltrs just look untidy. 4 over 40 yrs l have preferred the K's

Gee if was piloting a K boat & got done by a 6ltr l would questioning my lack of Ability . Thx God one of the K Boats won .

Probably ran due to not enough 6 liters to make a class.

If they'd have banks in the turns it's be more interesting, like Daytona, LOL. Boat racing just doesn't do it for me, the water gets so rough, and nailing the start is 90% of the race. I had a friend who raced boats and I asked him what the attraction was. He said it was the only form of racing that he was aware of, that the women wore BIKINIs. I had to hand it to him, that's worth risking your neck for.

Mitch r u really sure it's 135 mph The Blown Alcohol Flat Bottoms r only running 140/150 mph Tops . A Beismeyer Flat Bottom runs about 100/105 mph with 600 hp U might Squeeze 110 mph if Ur really fortunate. The Twin Turbo V-Drive out at Melton used 2 Run about 130 mph Not sure what they run these days . A Blown Alcohol Flat Bottom Beismeyer out of the USA 🇺🇸 owned by CrAzY Colors is running 141 mph with 1500 hp . Think he's from Arizona. He paints 🎨 all the fast boats over there.

Racing K Boats against 6ltrs is ridiculous. What have we got 700hp against 1300 -1500hp . What's the purpose. U wouldn't race a greyhound against a cheetah. Rubbish
