You’ll need the metal brackets that were hiding in the tub with all the dash pieces to stick the stereo surround and air con panel lads, they attach from bottom/ underside of dash down to trans tunnel and then the trim screws onto them. Keep up the awesome content dudes!🤙🏻🤙🏻
That first panel that got put back as hatch plastic is a driver's side kick panel, goes on the left under the dash 🙏 edit: and the clock bezel is still available at the dealership!
@22:34 this is what real car people do, everyone just copy catting with bolt ons. you guys are making the bolt ons, your own vibe.. THAT is what building cars is all about.. mad respect!
Grill was a win win and looks perfect 👌 can tell how much experience spoon has when he wings it and is confident in his skills to make something out of nothing. Great job my man's 💯👏✊️✊️✊️
@@shona5512 Yeah its against our lease to have one. We have access to a couple places now, so spending the money and space on one is counter productive.
@@rjay_az Happy new year RJ! Tell Jimmy to get a couple more lifts in the back so yall cant stack cars vertically and gain some more space. We miss seeing you more on video dawg
That double clip at 11:20 always nice to find. Those headlights were used in everything in the 80s. Every american van used 7x6s, honda, nissan, and toyota used 7x6s on their popups. Mazda had to be weird and use rounds for the miata, but the entire rx7 line used 7x6s.
When this 86 build is done, it needs to go down to FL to do a lap around the compound, and then a track day vs the gold CRX. That'd be such sick content
Finally got time to watch, I just started the vid with you looking for a place for the switches, leave kill switch/full power switch somewhere visible and easy to hit, everything else can be hidden in the glovebox or center console, easy to hide and still easy to hit
One time leaving Stamford CT headed home to Maryland back in the day we lost a ramp. Right on 95 in NY, seen a bunch of sparks in the Sideview. Luckily it came out and went right to the shoulder.
The homies over seas will have al that stuff DJ might be on to something with the clear hood. Get a wrap of your favourite initial D scene for the door cards.
Niel from from JuiceBox was fitting his dash and centre console a few vids back. I saw you watched his videos, you can find it there. The centre console pieces have two big metal brackets on the inside which bolt it to the tunnel. He has the knowledge and or the pieces if need be.
As a Starlet driver you are already driving the best small Toyota. I have an EP91, the only thing wrong with it is front wheel drive. Need to f’ing an AWD donor.
We need more Steve working on his car content. I love watching him learn as he goes and the joy that consumes his face when it's all done and he has great taste on what he wants to do. Steve's energy is a whole ass vibe for 2023
Delete all amber exterior lighting with white or clear cleanses is always my m.o. but the o.e. toyota lights just look so iconic. This car is so siiick.
