Hey, you got a hell of a good start. So far its come together very quickly! You did your swap for only $2500! Thats incredible! A couple years back I was wanting to swap my 89 Ef Si hatch and no matter how I crunched the numbers I couldn't get it down to the $2500 dollar mark as you have? There was just no way? Anyhow things are looking really good and I am anticipating future videos and modifications 🙂👍👍👍👍

@@TexasHondaChannel No worries. I understand the cost and time it takes to build these cars. I am impressed you have time to shoot, edit and post any videos at all! and on top of working a full time job. Forget about it. The cost, my Lord! I am $10,400 in and need near $5k more to finish my car. They say you miss things and end up spending a little more then planned but shit! My budget went over double and so did the time frame I had planned to do it in. Keep the videos coming. Its great to to watch your build become a reality. It's definitely a unique build. You see very few building on that generation of coupe. I like that

I wish id have found a cheap set of rims to throw on my ep3 before I sold it and kept the momo GT-R rims that were on it. They were pretty rims and I never see them anywhere.

Do a k20z3 head with the tsx 06-09 cams and a good tune you should get 230-255 np best of luck brother God bless

We are doing the K24a4 head to keep it all K24 so I can still use my timing cover and chain and it has true vtec and it will give me another 20-30hp over what I’m at now plus my tuner is giving me the head so no outta pocket money for that also can’t find a k20 head cheap and I’m so broke my bank has less than $75 in it lol 😂 I’ll make power just gonna take some time.

Love this channel man I'm only 19 and u helped me so much when it came to getting the right shit for my ek civic I was gonna boost. Unfortunately it got stolen before I could actually bolt anything up to it it's whatever tho I shoulda been more proactive against it. Now I'm looking at cb7 accords cus I just want a slammed boxy 4dr for a daily then I'mma focus on getting a project. thanks for all the help and info again bro easily the most underated channel on RU-vid

I think the grill has that gap because it’s for an 04-05 like mine because i have that grill and it fits perfectly, I believe yours is an 01-03 because my stock girl is different than yours and and your hood has that lip. My stock grill was actually similar to the new one i have like yours but with wider holes and the honda emblem

Is there a reason you go with matte Rust-Oleum over the other finishes? I'm redoing the top half of my Civic on Sunday. Going to go 220-320 grits, wiping with wax and grease remover in between each sanding process, priming where necessary, and going with the Rust-Oleum gloss turquoise. Bottom of the car is green. Looking forward to getting it done. 👍🏼 Good video as always and good progress. Interesting information on the XTD clutches. 👍🏼

The matte lays down great and if you clear coat it the clear sticks better because it bites into the matte paint better so it won’t flake as easy as if you were to put clear over glossy paint. Hope that makes some sense.

K20/K24, K20Z1 and K20A are the best options (i think) for the K20, and K24A and K24A2 are the best for the K24. check out KTuned Swap Packages, they come with everything you need for the swap, other than the Subframe, radiator, and a few other small things

Im entertaining the idea of K swapping my 04 DX. I thought about switching Hondas but this base model is my daily and its what I have to work with. I personally like the bodies of these when a little work is put in on them. My question is being FWD in total is it worth the swap? I play around on the streets may take it to a circuit track to practice on. Any advice be much appreciated. Love you channel bro, found it by mistake when looking up a swap for my civic and yours was really the only channel out there with any good info. Thanks man in advance

I would definitely deal with the gap. The aftermarket grill sets the frontend off perfectly. Putting the or grill back will take away from how smooth the front looks bro. Don't do it
