After your embassy confirmed they have recieved your case and it was being reviewed did you wait for them to inform you to fill ds160 and schedule interview appointment? Or you went a head and started preparing for the requirements?
Hello. I applied for the DS 160 a day after we had been notified by the NVC that our application had been forwarded to the embassy. Then a week later, the embassy confirmed receipt of our application from the NVC. This email confirmation from the embassy had a list of instructions/ requirements e.g medical exam, DS 160(it was a good thing that we had our DS 160 ready) + additional requirements. We then immediately scheduled for the medical exam as we waited for the interview dates to open up. Let me know if you have additional questions.
Try the MoH Self service portal - portal.health.go.ke/login I've noticed that on MOH's sign in section, they give an option to also sign in with e-citezen
So according to the official site, the medical examination will include a medical history review, physical examination, and chest X-ray, gonorrhea test, and blood tests (for applicants 15 years of age or older). The United States also requires tuberculosis (TB) testing for all applicants two years of age and older. They took: blood and urine sample, did chest X-ray(which can show evidence of TB). I saw a doctor/physician who discussed with me my medical history and did my physical examination. 2. I was then given additional vaccination: Influenza, Dultravax, Hepatitis B and MMR. NB: The full results are posted directly to the embassy ahead of the interview.
