All those hard working yet cheerful Nepali tough guys are the sole reason why so many people can make their dreams come true of summiting even the world's most dangerous and highly technical peak, the K2. They brave the merciless winds and piercing cold snow storms to make accessible paths, secure the ropes, carry loads like mules up steep and slippery ice faces etc etc. These are simply 'superhumans', in one word. I had never really delved much inro the workings of mountaineering before but after watching these videos and reading up a bit extensively on this adventure sport, my respect towards these courageous and strong mountainmen has grown a hundredfold. My deep respect, love and best wishes are always with you, brothers and sisters of Nepal. ❤🙏😊 - An Indian from Assam.
There is simply no other mountain that compares with K2. It is mesmerising in every way, beautiful and yet terrifying, incredibly technical and challenging, steep and intimidating. K2 is truly the mountaineers mountain!
How does it work that woman claiming records when nothing literally nothing would happen if they not surrounded by man power..matter of fact the team who fixed the lines reached summit faster than the one who claims the record I don’t get it…all this ig woman climbers should come up with a woman only team from porters to kitchen staff ..line fixing team then claim equality on big mountain
That's the greatness of our Nepali sherpa's brother. They donot want any credit. But at last money power wins. Despite of summiting first they even donot get name in any corner of Newspaper although they deserve the headlines with bold letters.
Say as much as you want. Bla bla shes a lady, that everything is because of the Sherpa. But you can't damn well undermine the performance itself. Climbing all 8000 meters is no walk in the park, just look how difficult and hard it is to climb K2. Would love to see you do it ;)
@@bendikberg3783 been on couple 6-7meters peaks in the Himalayas some pretty technical you missing the point most of those “climbers” climbing on 3-4liter/min flow if not higher..which is might won’t make it as a walk in the park but non actually carry those bottles..but I’m sure you summited several peaks in the Karakoram since you pointed out K2..I’m also sure you fixed your own line and carried your own gear..melting your own water..list goes on and on…people going for records on 8000meters are ego driven rich dudes women or man doesn’t matter..but lately women coming up with plans to show equality on big mountains yet not a single woman actually in the team while men’s losing their lives for couple hundred dollars
Thanks for sharing this amazing adventure! Keep them coming. Congratulations on your second K2 summit . Nice to see Kristin Harilla, the record holder. Cheers
If you really think? She didn't cheat, at all! Then you are , as nuts! As she is! Helicopters! Extensive sherpa help! Not getting to true summit, on a few mountains! Yeah, she is a climber! ( somewhat ) no alpinist! True Alpinist! That record, isn't a record! Its a dirty lie!
Congratulations on safe Summit and return. The work Sherpas do is incredible. To risk your life to make others' dreams possible is so honorable and commendable. The number of people on the mountain is mind-blowing.
Hello, I am a mountaineer from Afghanistan, I have the experience of 7400 meters, but I want to climb 8000 meters for the first time. Which peak is easier, for the first time. tanx

so wonderful. the 360 views are fantastic. thank you very much for another super video. All of you b eautiful people worked so hard to climb this very hard mountain. Bless all.☀🌹🧘🧘♂🧘♀🧕😀
In actual climbing, K2 has a triangular shape, so climbing it requires 110% of your effort from the first day, while Mount Everest is winding, and not all climbs are steep. The weather on K2 is also more unpredictable as well as there we will not have good team so K2 is difficult to climb. 🧗♂️
Can you compare k2 with nanga parbat how much nanga is difficult I know k2 is more technical but some mountaineers say that only nanga parbat can compete k2 interms of technicality

Fantastic video, I really enjoyed it! Just out of curiosity, why do you call your friends and mates as brother, uncle, grandpa, father etc? Is this some kind of Nepalese local thing? Thank you for you answer
