From the looks of it... you're ahead of schedule on getting this to running phase. What was the initial timeline?

I was thinking the same, but it'll come to a hault soon since the only parts I don't have yet are the really expensive parts. Over 1k for cam shafts, over 1k for intake manifold..never really had a finish date in mind. I'm in no rush since I haven't bought a car yet . I just want to finish it so I can admire it every day 😂👍

So on a new time chain kit... There are yellow chain links on the smaller chain.. Does that specific smaller oil pump chain have to be lined up with anything? And if so how?

Using a k20 oil pump theres nothing to line up. You can just install the chain

would you need to prime the oil pump? packing it with vaseline to aid it with priming?

I thought about packing it but if 4P shipped it like that and no where in the instructions it says to pack it so I didn't. It'll be cranked over before starting to ensure oil pressure

@@themechanic6117 can i ask you a question. my friend installed a 4piston h22 oil pump on a h23 block and he is getting no oil pressure. we tried packing it with vaseline and still nothing shoots up to the head when he turns the car over. Any ideas?

I believe if you use a k24 block you have to use a k24 timing chain, the oil pump chain I installed in this video is from a k20

No. There's no balance shaft on it so nothing to align

Any of the k24 bolts the same and will work? I forgot to ship out my bolts with a pump I sent out 😬 I forgot if the k24 ones worked, im trying to avoid him from buying new bolts...any suggestions? Thanks

I think the k24 and k20 oil pumps use different bolts . When I bought the 4piston oil pump it came with new bolts

@@themechanic6117 i finally found out all the bolt sizes, guess the two 12mm on the k20pump are the same as the k24 where they bolt up too, i couldn't remember if I used them on my block and I did. As for the 10mm still haven't found out yet but im sure there is one located on the k24 or hopefully he has a spare match. But thanks anyways, ya they come with new bolts hopefully they didn't account for that in the price because you can reuse them, they are nothing like head bolts where you would have to replace them indefinitely as far as I know.

Ok I didnt see any of the 4 pistons . Your going to have to rip that off and do this vid over again. I need to get one of them meow torque wrenches . That six sec. clip was something else :) Your quite delusional and fit right in with everyone else 👍
