I want to get some of these for my Freewind and start light offroading... Currently I favored the E07 because it is a lot cheaper and they say it runs longer ... but it seems it is also a good tire!
"Center section keeps it from getting traction" (K-60) How about not revving the engine, so the tire has a chance to bite. This isn't really a fair test, either You need knobbies in snow. And, a lighter bike would help. Still, there's also a skill factor (or the lack of) involved here...
I have this tire set on my 800 gsa very good street tire too! Last way longer than tkc 80 and better on the street. Great on dirt county roads, love these tires. Good wet and dry
Thanks. I'm on the verge of buying a set for a TR650 but read they are not as good on wet tarmac as the k60. I'd appreciate your opinion on this, please.
You need to be slipping the clutch instead of spinning the wheel like that. It looks like the second rider kept his weight more on the bike too in addition to less spinning and revving. That helps a lot. Not a good comparison on tire competence imo.
Too much revs on the first bike.... he was spinning it straight down... 2nd rider had better throttle control. keeping the wheel from spinning too much is the key in the snow.
