Well said. Only practice makes perfect. Been droning 6 years own Air2s but still keep a few cheaper small drones for inside flying when weather is bad. Another great video by Captain Drone!

I have to say that for an introduction into droning, this looks pretty good. It gives a great deal of obstacle avoidance to hopefully ensure you don't get into trouble while working things out. Better to spend this much to learn than a lot more with no obstacle avoidance-you know which one I mean! I might just buy one to try and teach my grandson, nah, I'll keep to myself as he'll only show me up 🤣
For $125 with 3 batteries and obstacle avoidance who can resist? Great little toy to play with when my DJI's are in a no fly zone. Ordered one just now!
THIS IS THE BEST BEGINNER DRONE EVER Amazingly only $100 for a brushless motor GPS camera drone with 360 obstacle detection including 2 batteries and a case. Makes sense to learn with a $100 drone before you burn $1000 on an autel.
Love the way that Obstacle avoidance works perhaps some of the big drone companies could take notice it’s a really good concept. Especially for sub 250 g drones with the weight saving of only using one unit for 360 view looks like this makes a lot of sense
Wow!!! $99? All those features and brushless motors, Im in. Maybe some of us dont remember there was a drone like this in our past that got us excited and hooked on flying regardless if it has a gimble or not. These things are alot of fun, heck I might get one as a backup done. OH!!! and its UNDER 259 grams? Wow! is all I can say. Maybe you can do a follow up with this one when it gets warmer
What tools do you use to take photos that are used for video thumbnails? smartphone or professional camera, and if it's a smartphone, what smartphoneis it?
Why would what type of smart phone even matter? Just look up how to make a thumbnail and then do it. You don't need someone's exact specs on heir phone or camera to do that.
Steve, that's how the video is. The cold has nothing to do with it. I know that because Jack did a review with the same drone, and it's the same. I do like that model type? I think it's awesome, but definitely very cheap plastic. Thanks for sharing Steve as always. 👍👍👍

I still have and enjoy my SG906 Pro . Would not mind owning this for a sub 250g drone. And that price is great . its currently a little over 100$ with sensor and 3 batts . Not bad for a GPS drone. Im not concerned much with cameras and video . I just like to fly it around . this would be perfect for me.
Mavic 3....here, hold my beer....LOL. What I think is perfect about this drone is that since your not so distracted by the camera cause its poor video. A person can go out in their back yard and concentrate on getting flight orientation and practice horizonal figure 8's. By then you'll know if you want to move on to a more pro model. Nice to see dry ground appearing around there.....
Yup...it's a light cheap beginner drone. Perfect for the price point ;-) Sure a better choice to learn on than to waste $400-600 on a decent small drone only to end up a beginners crash and burn or fly away!
For you to be surprised that the obstacle avoidance sensor moves to the direction of drone travel..... Indicates that you did not read the manual.... ;-)
£97 with 3 batterys and the obstacle avoidance doodaa is a mind blowing price for a first drone to try the hobby out. its a lot less than i paid for my SG906pro with 3 battery's which does not have obstacle avoidance.
Very cool as always! Imagine if this company made that obstacle detection system like an after market product that you could hot glue onto any drone. I would place it on my mavic mini 2. I don’t need obstacle avoidance in the front or rear because I love flying fpv but having it on the sides where you are entirely in the dark would be awesome 👏! I strongly envy your ability to withstand the cold. I am the opposite I can withstand hot 🥵 temperatures like lizards 🦎but cold 🥶 weather puts me into Hibernation lol 😂!

Love the obstacle avoidance module. Too bad the video quality is toy grade. I would pay double the price if it came with a decent camera that was jitters free.

pretty neat. i like it. fwiw, i've seen other low cost gps camera drones like the "Raven" that dont list an SD card slot, but actually have one hidden WAY inside the battery compartment...
K911 MAX is one of the most low cost drone ever made! Obstacle detection laser system with 3 batteries, drone and rechargeable controller at 113 dollars is almost nothing! It is highly recommended by me for all the beginners who want to join the UAV hobby! It weighs only 230 grams?! That is too less for a drone with a 2,500 mAh battery and obstacle detection system! To be honest, I was shocked that it can click 8K photos and 4K videos, but *"the reality is often disappointing"* (I already knew that the resolution must be super low quality because of the price). For camera quality, it is easily one of the most non-recommended drone for sure, lol. As expected, no 3-axis gimbal on this one and also no SD card slot. The footage is not usable but OK to see something from a height if needed. But, camera quality must be no big deal for beginners as long as they don't want to use the footage somewhere and most budget drones like this one have awful camera quality but that is more than enough for the price. It surely looks like the hybrid clone of DJI Mini 2, Air 2S and Mavic 3! 8:11 Pretty funny drone with that horizon tilt in the live video feed! 13:42 Lol, So true Many channels clickbait pure beginners (as obviously, professionals already know about all the drones and their camera features). After seeing the 'Not connection' and 'Plam Follow' I am pretty sure someone who don't know English well, designed that app, lol. So, it does have 2 cameras one at front and another downwards facing, which is pretty impressive for a drone of this price. So, it can flip too, like other entry level fun drones with VR mode, 3 speed modes, Waypoints, Orbit, Follow and gesture mode are also there which is quite a lot on such beginner drone. With Headless mode and 'Looking for drone' i.e. GPS rescue I think, it also has panorama? I hope that the panorama don't make the completed stitched photo horrible as it doesn't have any 3-axis gimbal.... I wonder that what the 'Music' and 'Filter' mode will do, lol. Everything else is good on this drone and the obstacle detection lazer system is impressive too as it turns itself around in any direction the drone moves in. So, I think that it is a very nice beginner drone as everything will cost less than 150 dollars!

I think that you are a beginner and want to choose a nice budget drone and, I can refer myself as a bit of professional after 2 years of experience and more than 500 comments on Steve's channel. For the price, the K911 Max is the most valuable drone for sure as it has tons of features which I referred to in this comment and also Obstacle Detection lazer system! So, I think that it is the best one for the price of 113 dollars (3 batteries and obstacle detection). Eachine X5 has a bit more flight time but costs more than 130 dollars and LYZRC L900 is almost the same with sinilar features and price. Overall, it depends totally on you and your wants! Btw, you should tell more precisely that what is the purpose that you want a drone as, I am using my DJI Mini 2 since a year and a month!
This is a great little toy class drone from what we have seen in this video. Definitely great for a beginner because as we all know, beginners tend to crash and destroy their drones. Destroy this one and you are out only $99.00. Not a bad sacrifice! With the weight of this drone being well below 250g, one could even put on a naked gopro for better video quality and it still weigh lest than 250g.
I heard the FAA changed the rules to all drones regardless of weight has to be registered now. This came from a DJI rep selling a bunch of drones to the company I work for
Some excellent features .... But so so let down by not having a 2 or even 3 axis gimbal , Totally let down by the video quality , Such a shame , They went all out on the obstacle avoidance and the other features .... Then crapped out on the camera / Gimbal 👎
