To be very honest I'm with them in this matter.I haven't seen a very great acting in all the shahrukh stuff they have watched and reviewd.And that doesn't mean he isn't a great actor.just try to watch from their perspective. Someone not knowing a single thing about Indian cinema,fans of Daniel day lewis and other actors of that caliber, watching the fame and status of actors like shahrukh salman akshay just recently.There got to be some very strong content from these SUPERSTARS.

Anyone who understands acting should know that it ought to be effortless. SRK's drawback is he makes too much effort, result is overacting and unnecessary, unrelated expressions.

Western people lack expressions and emotions, especially expressions. They believe only in actions. They are more mechanical and robotic. Indian people are more intense in expression so that background music is required.

The film is very aware of what it is, it is tragedy for the most part, except when they end up happily in the end, but that is also fine because there are many years in between since all of them are divorced. I don't believe SRK or Rani's character were wrong... They were in wrong marriages and it happens. Sometimes you work on it, sometimes you derail and make worse choices. The film again is aware of that, the first time SRK Kajol slept together, the scene is edited back and forth showing us Abhishek and Preity in the party. So the scene is not about "look at the triumph of love". They know what they are showing... I was a child back then and I absolutely loved this film, now I hate so many of its scenes, like all the unnecessary comic scenes. As a child I had not seen anything like this, you know such morally conflicted story. Not showing who is wrong, who is villain. Or glorying Infedity like in one of Govinda films... Both my sister actually had huge argument back in the day. I was watching this film for probably 4-5th time and they got very angry. They were saying that I want to grow up to be that person... And I actually understand women insecurity regarding such films

May be bcoz we saw him directly after a leap of 4 years after his accident & didn't see whatver that happened in those 4 years that made him so bitter From the 2 scenes shown before that accident we could see that he ws usually a very joyful & positive person but the accident changed him & made him bitter Not giving a justification fr his behavior, but I understand why he ws the way he ws After the accident he probably went through the toughest period of his entire life, & during such period it's very crucial to have ur loved ones by ur side During such a period without getting adequate love & support some people either go into depression or become extremely bitter Judging from what we saw in the movie Preity's character ws probably not available fr most part of those 4 years, which in turn made him bitter towards everyone, specially her Again....shitty behavior but understandable why he turned out to be like this Also I don't think his character deserved to be called a failure

Afcours the movie is different even srk knew that it may not be blockbuster in india .The movie is not Fantasyland for Indians and srk was not a larger than life persona in the movie and movie is grounded

SRK is bad actor. He is not an actor at all. He is just SRK in all movies.

Those weird hammy movements are all he does in all of his movies….. look at even his latest movies…..in emotional scenes he overacts and gets too melodramatic and then that dreadful shaking movements that he always does.

Shahrukh Khan is an authentic actor with his own methods. If you’re able to express the true meaning behind the performance to the maximum people with maximum impact - you’re a great actor. That is what SRK does. Following X, Y or Z school of acting is not necessary to be a true artist

I guess SRK is not for everyone in hindsight. they can't know what a breath of fresh air he was when he arrived. He was unique like no one else. However after almost 30 years, the new audience has already been exposed to his kind of performance from younger actors. But we know what is was like after Darr and Baazigar in 1993. These two people are unable to appreciate him cause he doesn't do it for them

Well for actors and who know acting knows nawaz and irrfan are one of the goat in acting ever born on the planet. Sharmilla tagore when watch irrfan movies for the first time he wrote a letter to him thanks that your mother gave u birth. Naseeruddin Shah said we just saw the top of the iceberg ( Irrfan acting talent)
