No, The movie isnt annoying. It depicts how actions have consequences, both good and bad. But mostly this is a light-hearted movie where you'll feel like enjoying your youth more.

Ok, guys! Here's the thing... there is so much lost in translation here. The translation actually does not do justice to what this song relays. The broken cot, the cool breeze, the earthen pot, the name Kabira, the word Fakira are very culturally relevant. There is no way in hell they can be translated without first understanding what these symbols denote. While I appreciate what you are trying to do... it is not even skimming the surface.

@@taruniathreya5022 Hi, Taruni! I'm not sure that I can do a better job that this. It's a matter of understanding the symbolism, and that can't be part of the translation but a discussion in the background. If I am not mistaken every Indian immediately understands what the word Kabir signifies, he was a mystic who belonged to no particular faith or community or people. He was not bound to anyone or anything. The same way a fakir is someone who is a free soul, a wandering mendicant. So this song I think plays very cleverly with these symbols to show how Bunny is like Kabir, like a fakir, who cannot be bound to his home and hearth and to one person. The broken cot, the earthen pot, the cool breeze are symbolic of home (these are typical of a rural setup in India), and they are juxtaposed against the freewheeling persona of the Fakir. This discussion could go on I guess, it is a very deep and intense moment in the film and the song does complete justice to it.

In this movie bunny, aditi and avi are like Harry and Ron and Hermione respectively. The only difference is that Hermione didn't get together with Ron in this movie and choose somebody else. And Dipika is Ginny who liked Harry ( Bunny) but he didn't pay much attention to her at first because there was cho ( another girl) but when Naina became all attractive and bubbly at Holi he started noticing her in a different way but they couldnt get together instantly because bunny wanted to follow his dreams (like Harry had to break up with Ginny to fight Voldemort) . But when all problems were solved these two got together if it makes any sense....I hope it does 🙏🙏🙏

During the time of this film, Deepika and Ranbir (the lead actors featured in this song) were infact having intimate relationships and at that time, they were breaking away, both are obviously extremely good actors, their real life relation had played even better on this song.

This movie was the first movie she made after her breakup with him in real life. She had overcome depression and a huge amount of mental health issues (not just related to him) so in my opinion there is some real emotion in that scene and it makes it more believable to me

Deepika once said that when she came in relationship with Ranbir, it was a new city, a new life, she had nothing of her own, his friends became her, his life became her, his circle became her circle, she never made efforts to create a seperate circle, a seperate life. That makes you lose your individuality. And when you lose your individuality in a relationship, relationship is bound to get ruined and you'll become empty after it does. Neither the person you're with can fulfill your expectations that much and you end up feeling lonely. I found this so impactful and true for many relationships. One should always have their own circle , their passion, their own hobbies , no matter how much into any other person they are. There should always be something that's only yours. We all know from all the pain and lessons she went on to become this amazingly strong lady that she's today and ofcourse found a man that appreciates her. If you even watch her talking from when she started and now, you'll see the difference. And you'll also see how both of them are amazing individually too.
