That high pitch ending to the sound always really struck me. Is that the same guy, just turning up his pitch as he finishes the scream? Or is that another voice coming in? It's such an odd sound it could even be a damn instrument of some kind. I always loved how _alien_ that sound is
It's the same! That change in the pitch is very usual in the kabuki theater, it's part of their way of reciting and really important when they do the kata (a special pose used in important scenes like the one in the image of the video). It's amazing how they can recite like that with such a perfect performance!
