Wonderful info, Kadour, you should work with Ben on presentation style. You have awesome info, I just wish it was a little more to direct to the point. I feel like Ben has mastered conveying a massive amount of info quickly in his videos. Professors can become the student of their students too!
That’s awesome. I’m waiting for the collaboration videos with you two. I’ve been working on some of these postures from this video. Modern desk jockey life wrecks bodies. Thank you for sharing info.
@@davidwhumke3406 Beautifully and respectfully said 🫡 so true that professors can be students of there students we almost all can teach each other something with our different skill sets & knowledge bases and life experience
Ziani, I don't know if you are muslim or not brother, but there is deep meaning in each of the 5 postures of our daily prayer that most people are unaware of. it is only because i have some knowledge about tensegrity, the fascia and neurochemistry that i understand how the postures in the prayer put you in a state of humble submission so that you can receive the light/energy/knowledge/mercy/blessings from God. it seems that you understand this very well, brother. peace be with you
In the later '70's I studied aikido. A student from my studio went to Japan for about a month to study in a dojo. He said they did so much zazen (sitting meditation--as demonstrated here) that he was still sore about 2 weeks after coming back from Japan. Asians in general practice more of squat sitting. He was in his 20's so age should not have been a factor. For sure I'm going to do more squatting & zazen.
What I'm hearing is spend as much time in the poses as possible without causing too much pain. Listen to the body but push a little and know that the body will adapt. Is this correct?
