I wasn't fully sold on his voice when i first came here to hear it but now that I've actually started playing as him I loooove his voice. A perfect combo of sinister and pompous, I love casting Flamestrike and hearing him call out "Anar alah belore!" while burning down anything in range. And the sass he throws at other characters on the map. Oh Kael'thas, you have my heart!
Kael'thas not only has an awesome voice, but also has a pretty amusing swag-walk in-game. Not sure what the critique is all about - it's clearly the Kael'thas of old, with added sass and plenty of nice references.
9:32 is my favorite. Listen how he requests recruiting the mercenaries. He’s so pompous that he can’t take any part of the battle seriously, lol. Everything’s a joke because he feels he’s above the other characters.
@@vegeta1885 but there's still no point of making this difference in words in this joke as it doesn't make any sense too, I thought it was some other reference in Spanish version but it's not. The thing about "brain" makes more difference, as blood elves are very dependent on magic as it's some kind of a drug.

so glad to see they've kept quinton since his first entry as kael back in warcraft 3. bilz may make some shitty gameplay decisions but atleast they seem to keep voice actors where they can :P

Derek Falcon No he wasn't. Lor'themar was a commander under Sylvanas; Kael'thas made Halduron Brightwing ranger general after Sylvanas died. If you can find a source that says Lor'themar was ever ranger general, I'd be interested to see it. Also, negotiations to join the horde happened while Kael was still the blood elves' leader; the BEs who traveled to OL with him had encountered the Mag'hari orcs, and this was used as a negotiation piece with Thrall. All this happened while Kael'thas was still perceived as a leader by the BEs.

Dude, it's the same one. Quinton Flynn has always voiced Kael'thas in WC3, WoW and now HotS. If he sounds different, it's because the Kael he acts as is not exactly the same one he was in WC3 anymore.

Ugh, he sounds like an elderly man... so annoying how they make all the female characters sound like 20-year-old porn stars, and all the male players sound like grandfathers. Never seen a game company go so far out of their way to prevent female players from getting fan service when they clearly dish it out liberally to male players.
JTHMRulez1 Sonya is a female Arnold (A good thing, if you ask me), Johanna has a soothing and feminine voice, Sgt.Hammer sounds exactly like the SC2 Siege Tank driver, who in turn sounded like Eric Cartman.

Out of the females, Sonya's my favourite. She says some funny shit. Johanna, Sylvanas and Valla are also great. They don't sound like 20 something porn stars.
