The Wheel Kaddy helps bring comfort to the operator of the walk-behind, and greatly decreases the amount of maintenance needed compared to other brands of sulkies.
A bunch of great ideas, but a traditional velke/sulky when in reverse will spin 180 degrees and go underneath the mower so you can step off and reverse a long distance rapidly. I can back-up while remaining on the velke, but lets say you had to mow a narrow dead-end 1-swipe strip with little room to manoeuvre and then reverse out, reversing and keeping the velke+mower straight is a real PITA. If you made one where the riding platform would 180 while in reverse, I'd buy a couple.
