I live in Chateauguay Quebec just a few miles down the highway 138 leading to the reserve of Kanawake. Lucky for me too because I can go to their Pow Wow and let me tell you their culture and customs are the most interesting ans colorful you'll ever see. There's a strong emotion in the air and you just know this is no small event! It's exhillerating and fascinating and EVERYONE should see this as it is very entertaining as well! A great friendly kind of people so bring the kids!

I wish I would have been born on the reserve but was not fortunate and don't know our language it was forbidden by the nuns in the orphanage in Montreal.
