I love Kai’s solo stuff so much

Film:KAI 2 for rover is out yesterday! It's as good, or maybe even better cinematographically as the first one Black mirror is def a comment about social media addiction. it's telling us to reaally look at ourself when the screen is off (aka the black mirror), and try to break free from the addiction. Kai joked even tho he's singing the song, he's actually just as guilty of it, esp as someone who produces the 'stimulating contents' and 'provocative angles' as said in the lyrics 😂

Yesterday kai became the SM soloist with most monthly spotify listeners. I love solo kai especially because the matrix was against him. People always said he's a dancer he can't sing he can't be a soloist he's only good to be in a group. Before his first album he was the only exo member who had no spotify page because he had no songs, no OSTs, no collabs of his own. Even in exo he barely had lines. People were sure he will have only loud dance music and no substance. They overlooked how he's been talking about going solo since 2013-14, and how he always had a vision, and recommended his fans tons of R&B and Soul, regge and classic groovy songs over the years. People who truly kept up with him knew his discography will be flawless. He only chooses the best. Gets it tweaked till it's perfected to his taste. He doesn't play with his music, photoshoots, MVs, artistic choices, promotions. A perfectionist and he's constantly improving.

In Kpop industry there is nobody with voice like KAI 😁😁😁😁. And he know it and taking advantage to the fullest ❤️. He is such an art.

It's the opposite for me because i think this is his most versatile one out of his 3 albums. I'm just so proud of him for releasing a vocally-centric albums 3x in a row and his growth as an artist.

In Rover he is keeps changing identity, scaping from the Red Force (EXO's storyline), you can see the teleporting effects visually, and he also appears bruised, he said from teleporting, maybe fighting his way out scaping...

for me, the placement of sinner on the mini gives me the vibe of kai saying "i've spent all this time showing out and living the fast life and being with these girls, and now i'm realizing that none of that is what i truly want". like he's realizing his missteps after all the sex and money and living the celebrity lifestyle. i dunno, it just feels that way for me. literally like a sinner begging for forgiveness

For me "Rover" is his song "Domino"'s Latino cousin Domino was in his Peaches album!

My fave in this album are Black Mirror and Sinner, but mainly Sinner. Black Mirror simply due to the lyrics. Sinner because it hits right to his concept for this album, he's escaping something since the beginning of exo's lore. He used his teleportation to escape and changed his identity(hence the Rover wanderer concept), but he's still being followed. If you watched exo's content outside of exo's mv, they always hint kai has always been monitored by someone and him been running away from them. His sin is probably what caused exo to be separated
