I have the Sennheiser MKE 440, and what is not mentioned in this video is, that it's a DIRECTIONAL stereo microphone, so unlike the more or less omnidirectional Røde stereo microphones it's NOT for picking up ambient sound, but for getting stereo sound mostly from what you see through the camera's lens. It's supposed to be a WYSIWYG microphone. (What you see is what you get). Or maybe wysiwyh? (what you see is what you hear) Anyway, it's very good, and I wouldn't trade it for any Røde.

I have the M50 with a 11-22mm lens for this mic, such a great combo for sit down videos and vlogging.

Great survey video. Don’t quite capture the intended uses of the stereo mics as one wants channel separation so audio sources placed in a scene sound like they are where they appear. But kudos for being the first of MANY reviews and Literatur including Røde’s own Literatur that doesn’t make it clear the stereo vid mic X comes WITH the dead rat cover and not just the foam pop shield. Well done.

Thanks for advise. Rode shotgun and a second for environmental sound recording. I thinks the wireless option doesn't work well with kids and pets :)

Have you ever used two mics at once with a splitter to divide let say a Lav recording to the right channel and a RODE VMP audio on the left? Anyhoo, love your work Kai

only listening over my laptop speakers now, and here the lav mic is the only one that sounds good to me, the others hurt my ears, I'm a bit sensitive when it comes to high frequencies

RODE STEREO VIDEOMIC X is one LEVEL above the Sennheiser one !!! You get what you pay for ...... (you may see the actual difference of quality , only when using headphones )
