Its was alot more one-sided in the manga but i personally lke this version better. It really just shows that even Luffy using his most powerfull moves he didnt leave a single scratch on Kaido.

Eh no. It was just like the manga. They just extended it by adding some more attacks from both sides. The difference is that while Luffy was going all out, Kaido wasn't serious at all until the last attack.

thats how i see this moment in anime, is really nice, but in manga looks since kaido appears its all in one side, and luffy only can see himself destroyed by a one shot that shows how powerfull is Kaido despite luffy's powerup, in anime looks like doflamingo's battle final clash xD But the animation of the "fight"...WOW

Let's not forget that Kaido didn't even need Haki to tank all of Luffy's attacks. Even Big Mom had to use it to defend herself, Kaido just causally took everything like nothing

@@lade4298 I honestly think that somehow Zoro will be tied to the 9 scabbards/Wano and probably become a part of the 9 scabbards, temporarily of course, and they will take down Kaido somehow. That way Oden's will would still be fulfilled in a way. There is reason to believe they (along with Zoro) can take down Kaido too, without getting into spoilers.

@@user.Icarus Zoro will never do that. He has no reason to fight Kaido since Kaido isn't a swordman and Luffy wants to beat him. I can see Zoro fighting his first commander, but not Kaido.

This is definitely the best reaction, you can see the desmoralization coming from gear 4 doing shit to kaido and how he still got surprised by the one shoot, not expecting that. I liked this over khan actually.

@@urek1246 Being a tank is pointless if you don't have strong attacks (not saying that Kaido is weak). Having a weapon of seastone however give you a massive advantage on DF users without even needing to use haki.

well until Luffy fights him again after he has gotten stronger. Who else is better suited to end Kaido's 1v1 battle record other than the future Pirate King. Also from what we've heard from Oda recently from jump fiesta. He's already saying that after Wano ends we'll be entering the final arc of the series so Luffy definitely needs to be at least as strong as a Yonkou and defeating Kaido 1v1 would be perfect to show he's on the same league as Shanks and Blackbeard. Idk how Oda's gonna achieve that but it'd definitely looking like Kaido's gonna get defeated by Luffy on a 1v1 fight.

The one I read mentioned after the flashback ends Wano will now start it's raiding and once the arc ends the series will start entering its final arc. Showing bits and pieces of what to expect from the final arc. But the newer translation doesn't mention that at all. In the manga there was no counter. Kaidou just speed blitzed him. Luffy didn't even see it coming. The anime is doing a diservice to kaidou making it look like he needed to struggle through out the fight. Trust me, there was no struggling in the manga. Kaidou just sighed ... and Luffy was out

I dont understand why the anime had to add scenes of kaido trying, in the manga, all the fight he was just drunk and one shoted luffy, in the anime kaido hits him with his tail an then uses his maze so it wasnt a one shoted, toei make kaido slow and make luffy more powerfull then he is and thats dumb

Dude Luffy wasn't made more powerful. This was actually the most accurate portrayal of Luffy's strength. It's like people forget that Toei has always disrespected Luffy and made him weak and dumb constantly throughout the anime adaptations and when they actually portray his strength accurately for the first time. People lose their freaking minds saying he was wanked off. The ONLY issue with the anime's adaptation is that Kaido wasn't shown to be drunk enough of the time and was actively engaging with Luffy instead of showing no interest in his pounding and completely removing Kaido's disappointment in Luffy's strength with a sigh and casually knocking him out with one shot. Those two along with pacing and all the super saiyan transformation bullshit is the only main problem with the anime adaptation of the fight.

luffy on gear 4 bouncman did damage to kaido but he heals instant withc mean luffy on gear 4 bouncman was doing damage but kaido was instant healing luffy can defeat kaido but it will take him days to do and luffy does not have the strengh to beat kaido on days

@@soul6733 The babyshake wasn't a direct one-shot. There was a clash between Luffy and Kaido and Luffy managed to land a hit on Kaido while he was being hit, kinda like King Cobra vs Zangiri Mochi. GoldCobra/ Arima Kaido was barely trying, he ate Luffy attacks, easily tanked a KING KONG GUN before one shotting Luffy. This was to show that Luffy can’t even hold a clash with Kaido. I do agree that the manga was more onesided tho

It still nothing even if it hit Kaido. In the first introduction he's said to be lose 14 times and get capture 8 times something like that. You forget that Kaido is pretty much a tank. People used to a villain that "untouchable" but in this case Oda made him the opposite and let him took everything but still no one can't kill him even himself.

why did you watch the episode first? you know there is no obligation to go to youtube rightin the same day the episode comes out? and if you are suscribe you alreday know he does certain clip of shocking moment of episodes? or dontget inside the video to actually confirm the title is or not a spoiler? so many things to o not to get spoiled that it seems more like you jut wanted to write that comment so bad, and just a common sense tip weekends on youtube for an anime only is just simply a bad idea, or perhaps just get a different account to watch reactions? also why watch a reactor fora chapter youhavent seen before, isnt better to watch it in higher quality and full screen first? what wasyour expectation?
