Toho and Legendary need to CHILL.

Greetings, it's me again, one of the devs for Kaiju Arisen. Yeah this was to be expected. Altho it's noteworthy to say that we didn't get the game deleted, we actually chose (well, the owner did) to take it down on our own for pretty obvious reasons. We very likely could have kept the game up for quite a while longer but it wasn't worth the hassle, especially since most devs had lost motivation to make content for a game that may get deleted any seconds. As far as Kaiju Arisen and by extension any other Kaiju Roblox game is concerned, chances are they're not coming back any time soon if at all. Kaiju Universe looking for so many new devs is, and don't quote me on that as it's just a theory, to me a statement that they've pretty much changed their project and are doing something new (that or they're going the Project Kaiju way and making original Kaiju) which is what everyone is gonna do if anything at all. It's of course a major shame for every game and dev because there was stuff on pretty much movie-quality that we had in store that we won't be able to use (IE: Slattern's model took 2 IRL years to make by its modeler and was literally movie quality) but alas there's not much we can do about it on that side. So Roblox Kaiju games are bound to disappear for the coming future at the very least. However this does not mean that we'll stop making games. A tiny bit of self promo here but we do have a new game that we're gonna work on that'll be inspired by Kaiju Arisen's combat system among other things and it'll feature dinosaurs as its main playable characters. My goal isn't to self promote so I'll leave it at that but just know that we absolutely are planning on doing something to replace Kaiju Arisen. That being said, I must once again thank you on behalf of the dev team for making content on Kaiju Arisen before it went down even if it was before its shutdown when the game wasn't in the best of states. Seeing our work (well, mostly the rest of the dev team's. I didn't do much beyond balancing) be noted and appreciated by someone as influential as you that most of us have grown up watching, even for the older members of our dev team, was fantastic and something we'll no doubt remember for quite some time. Even if sadly it came at the end of the game's life it's still completely and utterly appreciated so thank you for that, a lot. Here's us hoping you'll maybe try out our new game when it does release.

Sucks to see these incredible fan games shut down, but they were great to play when they were still up.

"Now I become death, the destroyer of fun games" -Toho 2024, probably. You know, as much as I can understand that they want to protect their property, it's a shame that these harmless games had to be deleted for it. I mean, wasn't that game a great ad for the Godzilla franchise? No?

As one of the newer devs for the game, it sucks that it was shut down, as we had so much more fun and well made kaiju planned for the game (specifically striker, slattern and minus one) So thanks for playing the game we all helped come to life beaver P.S, we'll probably be making another different game, more about dinosaurs with weapons and all that stuff

It's sad that these "ROBLOX" kaiju games are being deleted when the official games are TRASH. Toho and Legendary are so stupid for taking these games down instead of making a partnership between these games and themself honestly these "Roblox" Developers could legit be hired as proffesional workers to make a good official kaiju game but NOOO lets take down these games that BTW had around 10K players of Average. Such a shame these Big companies don't use their recources to the best of their abilities.

If all else fails, James should play the original Arari trilogy games if he could be able. Love to see him play Destroy All Monsters Melee, Save the Earth, & Unleashed.

Honestly, even though this game went down on their own terms and not by Toho themselves, I knew this day would come with kaiju games that used Toho's characters and didn't own a license to use them. (Especially if it made money off them.) Its why I never played the games, because I knew a Brick Bronze 2 electric boogaloo was gonna happen eventually. And it did, in the most severe way possible. And I do understand how upset this makes us fans, especially the younger ones. But please, understand that Toho are in the right for it and to not hate them for their decisions. As I've noticed they've only gone after games that were making money off their property (which is illegal), since the only kaiju game I've played on Roblox is kaiju attack simulator is still up, and it has no gamepasses. Which I think should teach us something, if you're gonna make a game (or anything at all) that has characters you don't own, make it free or make your own. (Or use characters in the public domain.) Now with that all said n done, hopefully Toho will look into making another Godzilla game that's like the pipeworks trilogy of games or give the Gigabash team more kaiju to add in as DLC. (Or allow them to make a Godzilla fighting game.)

I moved from KU to Kaiju Arisen, and I loved it. I just got Ultima and it was super fun... I will miss this games so much...

I guess one could ask themselves: If Toho sees so many fan games and how popular they are... why arent they making their own game similar to those? They got the money and the devs for it. It should be a warning sign. If this continues without giving something to their fans... then they will end up losing fans.

I love how you love arisen and universe, because those were my 2 favorite games on roblox period and I was so excited when I saw you start to play them!

NOOO NOT AGAIN!!! Toho it's TIME TO STOP! I can't live with no kaiju games in roblox (and project kaiju is no longer the same. It just has off-brand kaiju. It's just not the same, I used to be a very hard PK player but now...with all my favourite characters and soon skins gone. What's the point?)

You know, as much as I can understand that they want to protect their property, it's a shame since this is all the newer generation of kaiju fans have, besides some gigabash DLC. The developers made their own models and animations with so much love with good intentions. Its just so unfortunate.

Hearing about the Pacific Rim one HURTS as I'm a huge fan of it. We only ever had two official PR-related games; one was a very basic side-to-side arcade fighter (which overcharged for extra stuff) and the other was an app game that got shut down a few years ago. T_T There's so much game potential in PR and so much creativity that can be implemented.

Beaver you should also get godzilla action figures and make a stop motion videos.

perhaps you could make videos on older godzilla games? such as Daikaiju battle royale, godzilla: save the earth, destroy all monster melee, godzilla unleashed, and the 2014 one. if you cant find these for good prices just emulate it lol

i suggest playing project kaiju 4.0, it may not be based on godzilla but it's a good enough alternative with great original concepts for it's kaijus and it's pretty fun but it does require some skill to be good at the game.

I just hope that TOHO really considers making a new big budget console/pc godzilla game. The demand for one is obviously there and with all the godzilla stuff happening these last few months the overall want for a godzilla game is higher than ever.

Kaiju Arisen devs should continue the Pacific rim in my opinion since it's mostly Toho taken down games and Pacific rim isnt getting any movies or games any time soon

The gaming beaver kaiju arisen 5.0was not deleted it was taken done by devs for safety reason because of kaiju arisen 4.0 (the version of kaiju arisen 5.0 ) the creator are the freind of the dev form kaiju arisen 5.0 had got his acc delted I think because of the game so the dev of kaiju arisen 5.0 doesn’t want to get in trouble so they just made the game private now we dont know how long it is going to be down for maybe a month are a bit more but idk but I checked the devs profile and he is working on the game are a game so kaiju games on roblox are not done yet and we got the rich owners of kaiju universe are trying to license with toho but we still got kaiju clash💀 a game that none of us would like to play well this is what I heard so yeah I hope ka and ku comes back soon!

4th time commenting: Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee has been a long time favorite game for me as a fan of Godzilla. If you’re looking for another kaiju game to play I definitely recommend it. It’s an older game, coming out on game cube in 2002 and Xbox in 2003, but it does have a 12 kaiju roster, and a campaign. It has other gameplay modes and a bunch of different maps with day and night variants. Also it supports up to a 4 player local multiplayer.

So basically what toho and legendary is saying to us Godzillas can’t have dookie

most japanese companys are like this since their copyright laws are different than ours in the USA and Europe also Japan doesn't allow fair use like the US and Europe does I belive that it needs to change and we need to use the company/devs being attacked for stuff like this you need to use their laws and their laws they know otherwise stuff like this gonna keep happening

A pacific rim game should be easer to make your own jaegers for but legendary might still take act though

Im hoping toho will consider making a ku type game what i feel like theyll have to do is first sue Verrett because hes made quite a bit of money of of ku but then they might consider it because there was usually 10-20k people playing daily thats almost 200x more people that play their officially liscensed "AAA" game.

Hey, at least kiju universe is coming back before the movie I hope so And like two days ago, there was literally a game called kaiju universe that looked at the same but all there was was Mechagodzilla and I had the same graphics, same audio, but it also got taken down And I know it’s not the actual game, but it literally said kaiju universe, and l looked the exact same as the official Kiju universe models

Attack on kaiju is a pretty good kaiju fighting game to check out, who knows you may find me playing :]
