This was such a well thought out and presented video! 😃 if we ever find ourselves down that side of the world, we will definitely be rewatching your video to get the best tips 🤭 you really can't go wrong with dolphins, Wales and seals hey 🥳 really enjoyed this video so much 🤩
Hey guys!! Thanks so much!! I love making guides now!!! I’m really trying to make them as best as I can!! :) ohhh I do hope you’ll come to my side of the world one day!! Thanks so much guys! ✌🏼🎬
I was there in Kaikoura about 20 years ago and it was amazing! Watched whales, experienced sea sickness for the first time swam with dolphins, walked to a spot where I was told there would be seals (there was indeed a single one, and i was just in time to see him waddle off into the sea....).
Ohhhh thats amazing sounds like you had an incredible time!! Wow I bet it’s changed now since you were there 20 years ago!! Haha I’m glad you got to sea one seal haha!! Thanks so much for leaving a comment :)
Kaikōura looks so amazing. It’s like the perfect place for people who want to see and experience NZ marine life. The dusky dolphins are SO AMAZING! I’d love to do the kayaking tour with them and just stick my GoPro under the water the whole time haha 😂 I definitely want to visit there and do all the tours. I’ve never had crayfish either so that’s something I wouldn’t mind spending the money to try 😋 the peninsula walk is so great because we always love to get exercise in new places we visit and to see wild seals on your hike is the best plus ever to getting out and exercising 😄
Ohhhh I do hope one day you can come over and visit kaikoura!!! To see the whales and dolphins and seals in the natural wild is just incredible!!!! They are so happy and calm!! :) the duskys are the best!!! They are so so playful!!!! Thanks so much guys! Loving your Mexico travels!! ❤️❤️
Hiiii.. Leena from India here once again. Remember me ? I did all the adrenaline activities in Queenstown last Dec..Bungy, Nevis swing and Skydiving ☺️ going back to NZ in june. My girl n myself plan to do kaikoura and night sky watching/southern lights from Aoraki Mt. Cook, Stewart Island, Bluff, Invercargill. What I would greatly appreciate is advise on where to stay in these places. We don't drive so tips on mode of travel to these places is what I would love to know. Thanksssss in advance😘
Heeellllllo Leena!! Hmmm good question!! There are lots of different options depends what kind of accomodation you are wanting! Basic or luxury? I use a site called booking.com. I usually go for the cheapest haha! I would use this site to book all your accomodation plus it has free cancelation if needed! There are buses that can take you to these places! Mt cook is a bit hard i think it only has one bus that goes 2 times a week so I would research this and see what days it goes there! They are getting very booked though so I would be looking into it now! Intercity is the bus company I would go for! Comfortable and realible! Hope this helps! :)
hey nick and Rachel thanks so much yeah they did a great job rebuilding but the town was cut off from chch for around 6 months had to helicopter supplies s in from them!!
I love seafood but I don’t think have had crawfish before. How different is it from lobster? The dolphins you saw were much more of a show off than the ones I saw in FL. Didn’t realize all the places you went to were in the same area. Whales and seals would be so fun. Rosalie would go crazy!!!
Hey Carl!! Yeah all in one place crazy aye!!! It’s just full of beautiful wildlife!!! :) I tried crayfish I think it quite similar same white fish I think?? Haha :) thanks so so much as always :)
Kaikoura sounds amazing! So many wonderful things to do. Whales, seals, dolphins... wow! I'm so glad they were able to rebuild after that earthquake. Great video! 😊🤗
Hello, I defiantly think it’s worth an over night trip espically if you want to see the dolphins or whales as this can take around 3hours! :) but you can do it all in a day just have to choose what you want to do!! :) enjoy your trip!
Jeeez I didn't realise how expensive Crayfish was!! So cool though that little shack where you feel like it's come out of the sea onto your plate! Ahhh love those containers with shops! Oooooh i'd love to kayak with the dolphins! The seals are sooo cute!!!! I always love your travel guides!!! Love ya Megan Poo Poo 😆😆 💙💙
Millie moo moo!!! Thanks so much girl!!! I love this place! When you come here kaikoura is a must for the wildlife aye!!! Awh I really enjoy making guides now aye!! Like I so enjoy them!! :) yeah crayfish is super spenny aye!! Thanks heaps Millie moo moo poo poo 😂❤️❤️✌🏼
Hello!!! Ohhh wow that’s awesome!!! Where are you guys coming from?? Have you got lots planned?? North or South Island?? I hope you have the most amazing time here in New Zealand so many cool things to see!!!!! :)
Danm Girl... You just keep me on the hook to go back to Kaikoura... We did the first part of the walk in what seemed a gale force wind and a light shower.. Still saw some seals just chilling and snoring.. Definitely need some good footwear as most of where the seals are used to be below sea prior to the Quake.. I would love to show you just how close go I got to one seal after I did a stealth sneaky approach but alas I cannot load it into here.. Lets just say both of us had a WTF moment and I giggled like a little girl..
Hahahahahahahah I always look forward to your comment John 🤣🤣 I bloody love kaikoura aye!! Such a wee gem!! Hahahaha the seal sorry is brilliant!! :) thanks John! :)
