Hi Sir. Tanong ko lang, Pano kung ang ginamit ng casa na engine oil during PMS iba dun sa recommended oil grade ng owners manual? Tipong 10W-30 ginamit, tapos 0W-20 or 5W-30 yung recommended. Masisira ba yung makina or magkakaproblema ba in the future? Sabi kasi nung casa okay lang daw yun. E may doubts pa din ako kasi iba from the manual. Salamat Sir

Follow whatever is written in the vehicles manual as they were fr engineering experts. Dont listen to the gas stations or service companies advises or vloggers. The more u change ur oil with them, the more money they will get fr u. Its nothing but a commercial ploy .
Idagdag ko din, na kapag ang sasakyan hindi mo magagamit ng matagal siguro 2 months pataas na hindi mapapaandar eh napapanis ang langis. Nangyayari yan kalimitan sa mga may sasakyan na nasa abroad, mga nahatak na kotse tapos itatambak sa warehouse.
Yung mga car collectors, pag seldom driven ang cars nila, mas madalas ang oil change kaysa sa mga Sunday driven cars nila Mobil 1 & Delvac 1 oil pa yun... para daw sludge free ang makina ng nasa collection....

Whichever comes first sir. Depending sa oil mo sir. Example, FS oil na 6 months / 20k km mileage. If 10k ka in 2 months, 20k in 4 months. Palit ka na sa 4 months kung ganon.
Hindi naman po "napapanis". More on kapag hindi nagagamit, exposed siya sa moisture at dahil hindi pinapatakbo eh walang chance mag-evaporate yung naipong moisture content. Pwedeng maging dahilan 'yan ng kalawang sa makina.

Ang ginagawa ko 8k km ako nag papachange oil ng fully synthetic. 90% kasi ng commute ko skyway at slex. Yung gamit ko na fully synthetic yung mas mura; repsol at kixx. Next na i try ko aisin naman.
Yan din sabi sakin ng tropa ko na nagwowork sa casa. Kapag fully synthetic which ever comes first 10k km or 6mos so kahit hnd mo ginagamit or lagi mong ginagamit pasok dito

2011 vios ... daily traffic condition pasok opis , wala bubong parking direct sunlight sa bahay . 1yr or 10km ako change oil.... still in optimum condition..never nagpaayos major. justme :)

Pakiayos ang pagbaybay, dapat ay "magpa-change oil" at hindi "mag pa change oil"... Sapagkat walang salitang "mag"... Kung kaya't dapat ay walang space... At dapat ay may gitling (-) sapagkat ito ay Taglish word upang madaling basahin...

Depends din on the engine. Most engines with variable valves require thinner viscosity oil which can be found to be sold as semi or fully synthetic oils.

Flush is usually used when u change oil viscosity or for old oil to be "flushed" away. Treatment naman, depending on the brand. Alam ko meron isang review dito sa YT liquimoly engine treatment yun may actual benefits.
More on convenience ginagawa ko semi synthetic lng na usually 7k km interval maximum. Pero ginagawa ko mga 500-1000km before mareach ung maximum interval papalitan ko na. Usually kasi during PMS dun ko na pinapacheck lahat ng pwede icheck tulad nung sparkplugs, air filters, brakes and brakepads, underchassis condition, fluids such as coolant/brake fluid/wiper fluid at iba pang components ng nasa engine bay. More on alert sa akin during PMS na icheck lahat. Pero syempre may separate check up din ako everytime ginagamit sasakyan. Ung tinatawag na on-condition maintenance. Pag may mga nagfail na or pangit na condition ung mga namention above, mas maaga papalitan ung mga yun, di na aantayin ung PMS.

Bro Vios owner here. Ganyan ginawa ko sa first 20km ng vios ko, okay naman walang naging problema. Nung natapos free PMS ko, doon na ko nag try ng Fully Synthetic.
I worked in 2 oil companies ExxonMobil and Chevron, this is false information. The recommended change oil interval is 216 hours. Why? Because that's the max test conducted for an oil to pass the sequence vg test, that's the guarantee to carry the SAE mark you see on oil label. If you want to be thorough you subject oil to other test like TBN or total base number. That determines the remaining potassium (KOH) if it goes down to 5 your oil is no good as it will be prone to acid.
@@officialrealryan this is the most severe test conducted on all engine oil to get the latest SAE rating, continuously running the engine for 216 hours 54 cycles. It doesn't mean that the oil is unusable after 216 hours, it only means that SAE guarantee that your engine is protected within this period, doing more and ruining your engine will mean you have no legal basis to claim if engine got damaged due to oil lubrication failure. API rating is the one you see on your oil label; API SP for Spark ignition engines (gas engjne) and API CI 4 for diesel engines, for oils sold in US, it has a counterpart standard for EU and Japan made oils. If you check on car manual, they have specified what type of oil API rating is good for your engine. SAE rating is the oil viscosity, gas oil normally have thinner viscosity recommendation compared to Diesel oil cause diesel runs hotter and have higher compression
Dapat talaga every 6mos change oil na or which ever comes first. sa 5K km. Pero ako mostly city driving kaya dun ako sa every 6mos. using semi synthetic.

Mag full synthetic ka sir if you can afford it, regardless of your change oil interval its way better than semi in terms of performance, cleaning and wear and tear prevention of your engine, kasi kahit nga full synthetic oil hindi talaga sya fully synthetic as in hindi sya group IV oil which contains polyalphaolefins based oil, nasa group III lang (you can check the lawsuit between castrol and mobil) naging widely accepted nalang na tawaging full synthetic kahit hindi sya synthetic base oil. Group III oils are still derived from crude oils. Group IV is the real synthetic based oils like Amsoil and Mobil.

Kaya kapag nakita nyong malapot na ang oil dahil sa tagal ng pagkaka-Stock, Paandarin saglit saka idrain at magpalit ng oil... kapag hindi nyo ginawa at ginamit ng matagal, ang Engine ay magiging maingay or makalansing at hindi na maalis kapag hindi nagpalit ng piyesa... Bakit naging maingay..? Dahil humalo ang rebaba o tinatawag ng biruta sa natuyong langis sa gilid na siyang kikiskis sa mga piyesa na nasa loob ng Engine.. Ibig sabihin, nagsilbing liha ang mga dumi na umikot sa piyesa ng Engine... Dito ay siguradong gagastos ng malaking HALAGA... TANDAAN: Kailangan parin malaman kung malapot na ang oil at kailangan every 5,000 ang CHANGE OIL...

Mali po yung sinabi ni Kuya Daniel Razon na hintayin umilaw yung check engine liight bago mag-change oil. Pag umilaw yan, ibig sabihin may problema na makina mo. Kung yung oil level light naman hihintayin mo, ibig sabihin tuyot na ang langis mo by that time.
The best time to check is in the morning before running, all the oil is back in the oil pan except the oil in the filter. Avoid checking when running as the oil already circulated.
Real Ryan, ask ko lang opinion mo. Nagpa free PMS ako sa Toyota, (5k mileage or 3 mos) naka 3 months na ko pero pina service ko na kahit 2k pa lang mileage ko. Chineck ko sa dip stick yung kulay ng oil bago ko dalhin sa Casa, medyo malinaw pa, maple pa ang kulay. Then sabi ko sa service kukunin ko yung used oil. Sa bahay ko na nacheck yung dip stick kung anong kulay ng oil. Parang hindi nagbago yung kulay e. Tapos chineck ko na rin yung used oil na binigay sakin, ang itim, gamit na gamit yung kulay. Nakakapagtaka lang na 2k lang mileage ko pero yung used oil sobrang itim.
