The 1st group of Ati Atihan is world class, that is a lot of work done sa costume nila! I wish to see our Ati Atihan join the Rose Parade in LA or the Macy's parade in NYC... napaka ganda!!! Also Chef, nakakatuwa sa vids mo yung friend mo kse lagi lang sya smile kahit madalas mo sya asarin lol 🙂🙂🙂

hello CHEF.. was in Boracay in 1980... no development yet.. just 4 bahay kubo to stay in... and free running chickens. Flew in at Caticlan airport.. unpaved... abko bako.. stones or gravel Took the motorized bangka.. to Boracay... o ome there kami lang.. and i still have the 88 mm video... now a vhs.. lol glad you enjoyed Ati atihan we were met by some costumed ppl at the little airport MEMORIES.. Sa totoo lang po sabik na sabik ang mga tao sa celebration na ito dahil 2 years din na natigil ang Ati atihan because of the pandemic. Mas gumanda po talaga ngaun ang mga entries dahil sobrang pinaghandaan ng bawat grupo.

We were there since friday until sunday. Sayang hindi ko kayo nakita😔. It has been our (me & my husband) tradition na mag ati-tihan every year. The best festival ever!
Thanks for featuring Batan, Aklan! I remember my younger years traveling there every summer via Batan or Dumaguit port. Experienced my first Ati - atihan fiesta in Altavas, Aklan.
Chef RV, thank you for coming to aklan, im one of your fans when your doing vlogging for your cooking show, im a proud aklanon, its not only in batan and kalibo you can experience ati-atihan, the municipality of Ibajay is the most unique and authentic because the image of the Santo Nino is being enthrone from the rectory to the church on a saturday at exactly 12 noon and on sunday at 3 pm there is a processsion of the image of Sto. Nino every 3rd sunday of the january. Next year you can visit us here in Ibajay and experience the festivities of the Ibajay Ati-Ati Festival.
Maganda nga Po chef Ang kalibo to experience ati atihan festival mas maganda Ang dinagyang ng iloilo city last January 25,2023...malapit na kayo SA Boracay few hrs travel lang from Kalibo.
