Excellent work. Recovering some of the wreckage for a memorial gives the tragedy a sense of closure.

Amazing work. I've stopped at the memorial several times over the years as I travel that route for work alot. I'm glad to see a posiitive piece of history being made about this tragedy. Love your channel.

@@OutdoorsmanDave I recall way back when my Dad took me to Mount Richmond behind Nelson to visit an old plane crash. Also interesting the plane that went missing in Fiordland they never found

Amazing, lived in Matamata my whole life and know of this. What I didn’t know was how much of it still remained to this day.. thanks for passing on your knowledge. Are they in the process of removing the wreckage or?
