After facing a terrible choice at the moment of a nuclear apocalypse, a desperate survivor named Adam uses a risky new approach - time travel - to try and fix his greatest mistake and save the woman he loves. All good! Apparently we like making ambiguous endings, haha. SPOILERS: After Adam traded places with Nora, sending her ahead to the future as a last ditch effort to save her from the bomb, she ends up in his hideout and sees the way he tried so many times to save her life. Then, unexpectedly, the time travel device turns back on, suggesting that there might still be a way for her to save him. The ending implies that she is going to try to save him now, instead of him saving her like we watched for most of the story.

Great ending! I would have like to have seen certain connections made more clearly: the first time he takes the bike, I want to see him stop while running, stand the bike up and start riding it; the first time he takes the car, I want to see him get in the car and start driving. But otherwise, I have no complaints, and lots of applause for you.

Credits to credits were over 7 minutes. Are the specs different? Fantastic and well deserved win, guess I'm one of those rules lawyers everyone hates.

Thank you, really glad you enjoyed it! And good catch on the runtime - I extended the film slightly for the RU-vid release, just giving a few scenes a bit more room to breathe in a few spots. I'd say this is probably at least 90% the same as the version submitted in the competition, and 10% some after-competition tweaks.

@@LosMetatesStudios oh I bet, our director's cut is going to be that same sort of, let some scenes breathe and some scenes should be suffocated in a black plastic bag kinda mentality. We premiere in a couple days, it's our first time. The versy that got submitted is the one we had to stick with to get the marks. Super excited to see the other teams work. Again love yours seriously.
