I knew it sounded beautiful on a piano but hearing it played on a guitar, it sounds just as stunning. Very beautifully played indeed.

A wonderful performance. I remember as a child listening to this piece of Music on Listen with Mother TV, which went to be Watch with Mother happy memories.

I understand that these 2 guitarists have been playing together for many years and they do exhibit the elements of those that have - start, stop, crescendo together in a way that is very natural and organic. Lovely performance, beautiful tune and arrangement.

Fine performance but Imo pity about the too-quick tempo - Suggest the rendition by John Williams & Julian Bream on their "Together" album, also on YT. More sensitivity for an appropriate Berceuse.

@@pauljohnson650 Interesting, I much prefer this faster tempo, and find your recommended track overly slow and rather sickly sweet. This recording still sounds wonderful to me. I will a give thumbs up to anyone with the courage to do their own interpretation, and not only what is considered ""appropriate'". Otherwise we are just stuck with clones of the past, and we might as well just play the old records instead.

Excellent playing, what a difference in sound between the guitars though not sure if its technique or the guitar itself, Jessica's sounds sweeter but Jacob's is brighter maybe ?
