You are welcome! The song is amazing and I listened to it obsesively since I heared it the first time. I hope you will get far with your music, we need more people like you
That movie’s ending defined how a lot of real-life relationships that lead to marriage actually begin. Someone comes to their senses and realizes they could have true love in their lives and they just go for it!
PLEASE get me back to the 80's. I NEED to be there again with my family and friends, the music, cruising the boulevard, hitting the Jack in the Box on Long Island. The beaches with so many of us teens slim and looking fine. PLEASE take me there again! 😢
@twiceisneverenough, im 48 now, and every summer would go to my favorite beach Wildwood, NJ and it was epic....no stabbings, no curfew, no drama, just looking for a girl to share the night with....and yes, we were in great shape.....I feel ya.....cheers!
i see a lot of comments on these videos saying things lik essentially "this makes me so nostalgic for a time i never lived in" and similar stuff. i went from 8 to 17 in the 80s, i was in high school from 86 to 90. and i am the guy that did not grow up and get married and move on, THESE movies were in a lot of ways my real life more than my real life was. seeing these edits of these movies with these mournful new retro influenced songs really hit that ache inside of me. the time went by so fast and its not even the same world anymore, i am glad you younger people enjoy this but do not let yourselves get trapped in it the way i did. constantly longing for a time and world that is gone, clinging onto fading memories of being 16 and packed in a car with 5 or 6 of my friends on a summer night, and first crushes and falling in love just from a smile. still thinking about girls i kissed 35 years ago and havent seen in 30, and romantic nights with high school sweethearts that did not even survive the 90s. and even coming home and just seeing my Father sitting there, its been almost 27 years since i heard his voice for the last time. just appreciate it all while you can.
Bro, I can't read this. Gonna hang myself. jk. It is called imprinting. Things that influence oneself heavily at certain times of one's life. Happens to everyone. If you grew up in the 80s, your heart will always be there. Don't sweat.
I enjoyed The 80's Graduated in 88..... played sports.....7 years later I met my wife, been married for 30 years, no children. We have shared many adventures together, I cannot imagine my life without her.
I always thought the secret would’ve been to be born in 1970, start high school in ‘84 and graduate in ‘88, then do college & early adulthood in the first half of the 90s.
The 80s were worse than the 70s. The 80s were extremely materialistic and status symbol oriented. They were only wonderful if you compare them to our day and age.
@@gordon9177 I thought the same thing. So many ppl relish the 80s and no other recent decade really has the same nostalgia. I always wonder if it’s because there was no social technology to dilute personal connections.
You say you wanna leave with me It's not the first time Yeah Each second an eternity When is the right time Yeah Well our time is slipping from us as we Just let the days roll by Yeah Working every day, a little harder Without a goal in mind Pack your bags I'm ready for it No one knows How much time we have Left before this window is closing for us Let's go somewhere It is not important where we're heading Let's go somewhere We will find our way Ahh ahh... Ahh ahh... Let go of your anxiety For the first time Yeah You always wanted life to be Full of mysteries Well you have to take some risks to be free Not sure what it could be Yeah Well you have to be open for it And not afraid of it Don't look back You're ready for it No one knows about tomorrow Step right in before its too late for us Let's go somewhere It is not important where we're heading Let's go somewhere We will find our way Let's go somewhere Find our goal Once we get away
@@kaisersnap You know what? I was listening to this when you replied back. To be honest, it became my daily routine. I love the feeling that track gives me. It is hopeful.🤣😁
@@pumpedupbro4200 a friend of mine luved this film, but that was back on my early schooldays. What was the name of the actress? I don't recall seeing her in other roles- but she was the right fit for this one -
je suis un homme des anné 80 car je suis néee en 1971 et j'etait heureux dans ces année là et nous vivion heureux avec bcp de socialibilité et de bon film
Excellent job. Your use of movie clips and this chilled out song epitomize the era. Although I was younger, I got to live through my elders, but what a time to be in as many have commented, but also a great time to watch from afar, waiting to be an adult and have experiences like this.
The 80s was MY decade. I had such a wonderful time. Thanks for making such beautiful music that brings back those wonderful memories. I may be old now, but songs like this make me feel young again, and for that you have my deepest thanks.

I know there was an age gap but it would have been cool if Patrick and Amanda connected afterwards. KS - thanks for taking me back in time with your music - keep up the great work. BTW - would love to hear this song sung live!
