i would hardly characterise the 20's and 30's as being peaceful. mexico, china, ireland and spain had civil wars, russia tried to invade poland, hitler attempted a coup in germany. in the 1920s and 30's america dealt with the mafia, the kkk coming back, the red scares, lots of continental wars. france and italy were very chaotic as was japan (February 26 1936 in japan). the ussr started killing lots of people and japan started to invade parts of china.

Historians often agree a german victory in WW1 would have made the world a better place on the fact that Germany wouldn't destabilize Europe like the entaunt did with the treaty of Versailles.

@@yeetadog that's the Consensus among Historians since Germany was worn out and didn't have much of a bargaining chip since it had no colonies left. if the Spring 1918 offensive was even remotely successful, then it would have meant a negotiation on more equal footing. Germany wouldn't be illegally forced into unconditional surrender and thus be more apt to Negotiate on its behalf during the Treaties. in General and Equal treaty is more Stable, unequal Treaties were how the Qing Chinese and Native American Civilizations collapsed. the Germans also had no power to enforce such strict demands nor the integrity so short of a Re-initiation of Hostilities, Germany could enforce a basic peace treaty. the Difference between the Treaty of Versailles and the Kaiserriech Alt-History's war-ending treaty (I think also Called Verssailes though it also could be Frankfurt again.) is based off of not Destabilizing the enemy country's Economy. Britain and France could maintain their colonial empires legally after both treaties, but not so much for Belgium itself, the Congo, and the Suez Canal, Egpyt wouldn't Return to Ottoman Control. also, the shift in borders wouldn't be as dramatic geopolitically. the Balkans (Italy went Fascist due to President Wilson Nulling the Treaty of London 1915 and Violating Italian claims to Split and Rijeka) went Fascist because of the Treaty of Trianon finalized the Territorial Gains that made Romania want to keep those Gains and Hungary and Bulgaria want the land back. the creation of entirely new states where previously stood larger usually more stable empires that didn't hinge entirely on Nationalism for Stability (Austro-Hungary and even Italy was Destabilized by Nationalism (the Italians wanted to go to war and it didn't matter who without regard to Geo-politics) while thanks to bismark strengthened Germany because the whole ethos of German unification was Nationalism). the "Authoritarian Personality" cult of the Russian and Hapsburg Empires would only need to be strengthened somewhat to keep the Empires from Collapsing... the Intelligentsia would have to be punished for dividing the countries based on Identity politics which would be easily done if the Military Defeat at Vardar could be prevented. Germany however was defeated because it was carrying a faction that was weak in every way integrally for different Reasons. if Germany was able to dedicate itself away from its allies then it would be in better standing to survive the 1918 scenario and possibly make it to the Peace with Honor though it would risk losing its allies sooner. given that Brusilov would have still dis-orged the screws out of the K.u.K, the Germans could have finished off Greece instead of France to prevent the Vardar Disaster or even Knocked itally out of the war by helping more at Capparetto in which an Alps front against France would be a bargaining chip against France. The war ending in France without a German Collapse is all it takes for a german victory, even if the treaty is bitter for everyone with a status quo on the border. Britain would have to Gallipoli itself in Germany, without french support on the west border, it would likely never work unless the Spartakus Rebellion was more effective. the Kiel Mutiny may have never occurred as a Catalyst event for the birth of the Weimar Republic the Germans knew what the French would do since they enacted debt on France in the Treaty of Frankfurt 1871 and wouldn't be as likely to do it again because unlike 1871, the french had no economy of which to pay off their war debt from the Damage in Champagne within 5 years time, some Bismarkian Politik survived, and it would be less likely for the treaty against France to Inspire another world war... at least if Wilhelm II or anyone else more in charge acted in bismark's footsteps. they had less of a Reason regardless to ask for reparations since they Stole Belgium's Industry during the Occupation (Belgium hasn't recovered from that even a century later). they were more likely to want to Punish Britain for the Blockade than France for anything else. then again Britain is saved via its Geography, Germany won on the Continent but wouldn't be able to touch the British in the Negotiation table unless Lettow-von-Vorbeck managed to be a can of Whoop-ass in British Rhodesia as he was starting to be. Basically, the Kaiserreich Peace with Honor scenario is the most likely for a German victory if the war was a win for anybody at all because Germany legit couldn't touch Britain due to a disparity in Naval Strength. the US and the Brits were easily enough nullifying the Uboat Counter-blockade the Entaunte would have to drop the war if they wanted to Save Russia from going bolshevik. much like what happened in the Baltic Wars of independence, the Germans instead of the British would instead Lead all anti-bolshevik forces in western-east Europe in protecting the eastern buffer states... except Ukraine which may fare better due to Germany still being suitable to strong-arm the Bolsheviks into not invading in 1922
