Long time no see, Die Watch am Rhein. Doesn’t hit as hard without the image of the Kaiser looking at tanks rolling through Paris in a parade in the winter as the background.
I honestly like this one as a deconstruction of that more famous image. "Yeah we conquered Paris but uhhh... I'm missing an eye, and my buddy is missing an arm."
Hearing this again brings back Darkest Hour KR memories for me. It's been awesome to see Kaiserreich continue to develop and grow throughout the years.
Playing my first game as reworked democratic Germany. Handled the Black Monday and oppossition events pretty well but Second Weltkrieg proves to be more difficult than I anticipated. I can hardly break commies' frontlines in France. The worst of it all - the Russians straight out destroyed poor Kryvia and Ukraine, taking Konigsberg and half of Poland. God help me, perhaps I shouldn't have buffed them in the difficulty levels. Maybe Steiner and his army can save the Kaiser [*] EDIT: I lost. It's only the matter of time when Kaiserreich will fall. My 40 width divisions literally can't penetrate French lines. At least I killed more commies than they killed my soldiers. I will start new playthrough, although this time I should create more panzer divisions and HOPE that my eastern allies aren't as incompetent as Soviets in 1941.
In my current germany playthrough literally everyone is attacking me from everywhere: france, britain, spain, italy, belgium, netherlands, russia and THE WHOLE BALKAN
I’d personally recommend holding the French border and focus on breaking Russia, it seems to work much better Also when you say 40 width I think of thick inf+arti divs so I would also add in the suggestion of using 30-40 width armour divs Or space marines those work as well
In my experience, what worked was building a fuckton of infantry on the border (along with forts). Was able to stop the French at Westphalia. I also placed 120 20 width divisions on the eastern front and just had them hold. I otherwise just maximized defense. Then I just built a lotta high quality planes, held till 43, and launched offensives on Russia and France with cas. That worked and I got the Commune by 44 and UOB by '45. Keep in mind I did the Schleicher path which gives astronomical boosts to manpower/defense and allows you to take a decision that boosts division attack by 15%, and I only really won because of that.
Thank you all for your tips. I hope this time it will be better, although Spain already fell to syndicalists, so the French will have more divisions on me than the last time. Regarding the air support, I'm producing planes since day 1 so maybe I'll have enough supply of them for future offensives. Shame tho that i wasted good few hours into first playthrough ):
@@CelestialBro it’s been a while since I played Kaiserreich (because im playing kreddux) but iirc Germany does have a few generals that have skilled staffer so ig make sure to put them on russia for the few extra units?

I suck at this game, I have no idea how to hold as Germany in the Second WK. I don't have any troops in the East and I kept seeing red bubbles on all my allies until I chessed the game by deleteing a 100 Russian units.
I am on my 10th play through imo WK is difficult Here's my general meta ig xd (btw this is schliecer run): 1. Rush the spy focus under master of the world, and then rush to fortify east Asia 2. Wait like 10 days for political focuses to open up, and then rush "Quivererbung" 3. Get three focuses under Rathenau Plan 4. Get crush ruhrkampf right after 5. Rush income taxes under debt restructuring 6. When doing ruhrkampf, always try to keep it around 30 so when you get reichsexecution on Brunswick you can just end it immediately (be careful cause if you're below 25 after the pulse event schleicer loses) 6.5. Usually mil focuses open up rn, but if they aren't open Get "Arbeindist Public Works" 7. Get Yearning for Canae, then the focus bottom left of it, and then get extra research slot 8. Rush "Kaiser Willhelm Society" or whatever (it's arbeindist public works and it grants an extra research slot) 9. Get support infrastructure under arbeindist public works 10. Start doing focuses for regime of the red general --->Nullification crisis should be starting soon, but you should have enough time to get two focuses under that branch --->If not do mil focuses (W-K system) --->The only focuses you really need are "Towards Corpratist Representation" on the far right, and the two production cap foci on the left, once you do this... move onto step 11 11. Get everything you need for war preparedness act... you *will* need it. This is my general guide, def try to get some Die Fronde focuses in the middle of the mil branch. Then just do what you need to do to prepare. Big suggestions: -Never produce civ factories, you're basically on par with vanilla USA in industry, just spam out mil factories. Start converting civ factories during 1938 and beyond but make sure you don't overkill (like at least have 60 for construction) -Unorthodox but cancel all your tank and air production (except for fighters). Your tanks suck so ur not going to be volunteering. You're going to heavily need infantry heavily (like 100 divisions AT LEAST) -REMEMBER TO GET ARMORED CARS FOR RECON (couldn't be me) -ummm I probs have some more but goodluck!
@@FreakinAwesome1789 gameplay wise, black monday card game and event micromanagement was a bit tedious. But as the main focus of the game, it feels really flushed out to me with all the prewar and postwar events it feels complete.
@@realaugustinlouiscauchy I'm glad you enjoyed it and ngl they put great effort in it. I personally expected more of Kaiser and setting up monarchies throughout Europe, annexing bunch of land, that sort of stuff.
@@radon.drl. Are you sure? I say this because posters of the French commune appear falling to the ground, as if it were a metaphor that the French commune has collapsed.
@@l1h1fb I personally think it was World War I, because the French flag in the picture is not the French Commune’s flag, also the French uniforms are blue during WW1 .I think those propaganda posters were used by the communist before overthrowing the old regime.
New patch you gotta spam planes. In my games the AI has tons of shit planes that my much better planes get shot down by, so plane spamming and holding defensive lines until they lose Enough men is the strat
