I could just cry! Lived there for five years, but had to leave four years ago to come to the States for my husband’s job. We lived between the Bahnhof and the Stadium in a gorgeous house. This was so good, and yet so painful to see. I walked those streets almost every single day. I love this perspective!

Been over 30 years and I was so happy to see this place, the "Fussgangerzone", where we used to walk all day, stopping at little cafes and resuming the long, long shopping walks. So much has changed in K'town, but this here place was still recognizable to me. I was overjoyed, brought back so many memories! Thank you for this precious video and thank you for walking, so we could have time to see things slowly.

Aweee I miss K town. I lived there for two years and left in December 2020 to LA. I want to go back. I lived in downtown too. For anyone moving there, backwork (it’s in the beginning of the video) had amazing pastries and if you like quick seafood Nordsee at 4:20 is great. Marktsrase tho ( i stayed for a few months when I moved there right next to Sissi Franz) is where all the stuff is at. Have fun! I’ll be back.

Wow! This was great. I lived in K-Town 20 years ago on Bismarkstr. You got really close to my building and I was hoping you'd walk by it, but I'm not surprised you didn't. Nothing to see there anyways. But then you started heading to my favorite spot when I was living there but then the video ran out. There was a restaurant in the pedestrian zone right next to a big fountain. And the restaurant served food outside next to the fountain. Oh man! I used to sit their for hours and hours and just eat, drink, and read. Bischoff Kellerbier. My favorite. And the food was exquisite! And the price was so cheap back when the D-Mark was still a thing. Thanks for the video!

Stationed there 65-66, I think there was like the oldest cafe with an entrance by one of the churches what a great place, also the Spinnradls.Of course a glass of wine was one mark then 25¢

Que saudade de Kaiserslautern. Estive com meu amor, que morava na Friedenstraße 55B, Thomas Weingarth. Em 2016 passei 3 meses nesta cidade linda com meu amor. O ano mais feliz da minha vida. Mas voltei para o Brasil e ele terminou o namoro pelo WhatsApp, até hoje não sei o motivo; nós nos amávamos tanto. Muito triste 😔💔

Was ist mit den Baumen und Blumen geschehen? Weg! Nirgendwo sieht man Pflanzen. Das ist sehr schade. Vor 30 Jahren waren Baume und Blumen uberall auch in the Stadt. Das muesst ihr zuruckbringen.
