KAITO has always been my favourite Vocaloid. He may be a computer program, and one of the first, but he somehow still manages to give the most emotion to these sorts of songs. The first time I listened to this, I was on the verge of tears, and it remains one of my all-time favourite Vocaloid songs to this day. This has to be at least the hundredth time I've listened to it, and I'm still getting chills. It's just so powerful...
The humans have left. The world has gone to trash and waste. But then it begins to heal itself. Kaito's a robot and is calling everyone back. Therefore Kaito is Wall-E.
I feel like it could be a song about the earth becoming polluted, humans leaving, and only Vocaloids left alone when the Earth heals itself. Or, it could be about a person who was hurt so they hurt those around them, causing them to be left alone and lose their friends, but now that they've healed and improved, they are still alone with no one to share their new positive self with.
Sorry if I have already commented, but for people who are about to watch this...If you realize or not Kaito is the one who actually brings meanings to a song....deep meanings that could reach your heart than any of the other vocaloids. Instead of singing about happy happy fun time. He acturally sings about his feelings about being robotic and how people don't really listen to him because he may have been first, but no one listend. He speaks his feelings like a real person. We all can hear you;A;
Ngl he is the reason why I started having a soft spot for blue themed characters- Gosh he may be of the first vocaloid, but he is too precious for his own fans.
It is sad, sure, but it seemed kinda happy too He saw all that pain and suffering and soon it was his time to leave, but he was able to see that the planet was making a come back, and I'm guessing he had a new found hope before he took his last breath :3
I didn't know what to expect and I got something depressing. I actually cried during the final chorus, because I'm actually in love with Kaito and it kinda hurt my heart to see him suffering alone.. It doesn't help I'm writing something as of now that is very tragic.. to protect everyone Kaito commits suicide and leaves behind his wishes and regards for those who care about him in it.. oh my god what is up with me writing and seeing all of these depressing things??
Kaito.... I hear you...I HEAR YOU *starts sobbing*....you may be just a Robot ...But your songs they have more emotion and meaning than any other vocaloid.. or any other main stream artist....please never rust away...
More than that: he’s an actor and singer, a synthesized voice given human sounds by a human voice actor, and images on a screen. In other words: ain’t no way he’s dying. He’s a human creation with the potential to live forever.
yup, but i think the 01 has a different meaning, cuz Kaito and Meiko doesn't have numbers at all and Kaito and Meiko were the first japanese vocaloids, leon, lola and miriam were the very first.... but my love goes to our blue boy KAITO
No.....-shakes head with tears in her eyes- Kaito I will miss you I enjoy your songs and I will tell you this now i will do anything to keep the Shions alive -runs to him and hugs him wrapping her ands around him with tears in her eyes as she smiles lightly- I hear you kaito i always do
when Kaito append is release,, i hope somebody will make this song again with it. at that time i'll surely cry. the lyrics and the whole song along with the melody really stunning
Ooh, a nice low one! Awesome. And I can just imagine Miku vocalizing most of the acompliment! Love it! A little too busy at the moment to watch the video, but the music certainly tickles my ears with a broad smile. Playlisted!
I think I just found a story to base my short story on. :o Anyways, that was kinda sad. :( I didn't cry for some reason though, usually I burst into tears really easily.
@SailorXenaFan108 No, you're not. I was just thinking that! I hope that there is a connection, 'cause I've always felt that, in Hello Planet, way too much is left to chance. Miku dies, so unless there is ANOTHER beautifully-singing robot to help the Earth or whatever, then everything could just end there :/
is it just me or does this have a connection with hello planet . or this takes placeright after hello planet took place . because both have mentioned poisonous rain and rusting away and the atmosphere isnt sky blue . it also mentioned that several of his comrades (which could be the other vocaloids ) rusted in the rain before he did . and hello planet had the last love saong in the world . but this has the possibly last song ever in the world . am i the only one who notices a similarity here??
@ExtremeYaoiFanatic No, Kaito probably wanted to stay... Just so he could do this when things began anew...YOU'RE TOO SWEET, KAITO! ;_; *baaaaaaaaaaaawls* I mean, Earth is the only planet with ice cream, right?!
K-Kaito-nii! *crys**glomps* Nooo, don't disappear too! Please don't! TT-TT Ugh, this is depressing 'cause this could very well happen to the earth T.T Don't disappear Kaito~
@Darinshi I think I faint, an almost original comment about dislikers - and it's almost funny enough to be one of the lamest jokes ever. Considering the genre, that's really darn good. Why, you could almost be intelligent :| Sadly for you, this video is too good for that kind of spam. Next time, save if for some generic pop video. How you could write such a narrow-minded comment (and get thumbs up on it) with this beautiful song in the background, is beyond me.
I keep imagining there is a Wall-E type of ending afterwards and they will fix him and the others, and all will be happy T_T (but seriously, just hearing the intro when I type this is making my eyes go red)
This make me feel even worse about Kaito. Hadn't any of you wondered why he never sang live before? It's because he's not a supported vocaloid like Meiko and Lily, so they're getting retired. I sha'll help the girl plant those white flowers, and mix them with blue roses, and buy ice cream for everyone to keep Kaito Alive!!! Kaito should never die!
Why is their no nico chorus for this? I was searching everywhere sure that somebody (or at least clear) covered this and yet nothing. WHY?! This song is truly beautiful with meaningful lyrics that can leave you in tears. So why isn't it getting the recognition the more generic pop songs get? *sigh*
