Good review. This and a couple others got me to buy it. It just arrived today. I got the KC602. There is a vid link in the comments about how to change the temp. He does not explain or show it well. I figured it out. Mine defaulted to F. I want C. remove battery. hold side button while inserting battery. it beeps, let go. press side button 2 times. it will go into settings mode. press power till you get to temp. press select to pick C or F. power off. when next powered on it will default to the selected temp format.

Здравствуйте! Батарею извлекать необязательно. Чтобы войти в режим калибровки достаточно зажать боковую кнопку и включить прибор, остальное по вашей инструкции.

translated..... Hello! It is not necessary to remove the battery. To enter the calibration mode, just hold down the side button and turn on the device, the rest is according to your instructions. --- confirmed. that works, thanks. @@valerijbaslakov6837

From what I can see, the clamp on the 602 has a place to snap in one of the leads for one-handed testing. I just bought a small pen style to get that functionality as it's a pain to having to place a probe then look back to where I hung

That was a good review and on time because I am needing a meter to measure inrush current. I can't decide whether to get this one or the Kaiweets HT-208D, which is more expensive but they both do have the same features with the exception of the auto ranging the KC meters have. I am old school and like to select my ranges. Speaking of old school, is that a Simpson 260 I see behind you on the shelf? That was the meter I learned on when I went to electronics school back in 1965! Keep up the good reviews, they are a big help when looking for a product but unable to find much info on the internet.

Great review sir! I already purchased 2 of these due to the good reviews and simplicity for my lower level HVAC/R service technicians, I still use my fluke 378FC that I have used for years. The Kaiweets multimeters look good and work well too. I have not been able to get/find support for my Kaiweets 602 meters I just purchased and brings it to why I have reached out to you, I am looking for A magnetic mount for this meter?? It looks like Kaiweets is A big up to date meter manufacturer so they must have one available or can at least suggest one that works with their products. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in Advance, Andy's Heating & Refrigeration.

I just got the 602. I am quite impressed for the money! It was 1/4 the price of a Klein. It feels sturdy and the lead holder is great if you don't have a place to set the meter down. It was always a pain to try and hold the meter while trying to get the lead on. Also you didn't mention the non-contact voltage. You can use this to test to see if there is live voltage in the area before you start working, very helpful.

602 has the D shaped clamp. I never used a clamp meter so I am wondering which clamp style is best for day to day use. Cons and Pros of each?

@@AW-nr6ij I got the 602 as I was worried the 601 clamp might not be big enough. That isn't an issue though and I would probably get a 601 if I bought again. Great meter though and the smart selection works perfect!

@@justinthompson7623 I just ordered one from AliExpress (602), found a nearly 5 star seller who was selling it for $36 Canadian, it is $70+tax in Amazon. That's a bargain given the capabilities of the meter. Can't wait till March 27, and hope that it will last a long time.
