👷‍♂️👷‍♀️#Kaizen for safety at #SMRT! 👍 Launched in 2022, 🚧 Project SafeDepot+ is a collection of safety initiatives, such as:
📱e-Track Occupation Authorisation (e-TOA) System: transitioning from the use of paper forms to the e-TOA system, this in-house developed system enhances accuracy, reduces risks and costs, and promotes sustainability
⚠️ Signal Warning System (SWS): use of video analytics to detect signal lights and buffer stops, enhancing the safety of train operators
🔊 In Cab Alertness Monitoring System (ICAMS): use of video analytics to detect fatigue and help maintain alertness of train operators
⛔ Signage for designated entry and exit points for track access, reducing risks for staff unfamiliar with the depot surroundings
👀 Zone boundary markers, such as on third rails and sleepers, for clear visibility of depot power zones demarcation, even at night
➡️ Arrow signage placed on depot railway signals, aiding train operators to safely operate railway vehicles
SMRT will continue enhancing workplace safety culture, practices, and standards. 💪
