I've been living in Kakadu for just over a year now, truly amazing place to experience.... in so many levels!! I came up here for two weeks initially.... and didn't return to where I lived because I lived it here, so much. Beautiful place indeed!!
Absolutely love watching your channel. Your family is to be admired and hopefully you are a mentor to others. Jasper makes me laugh so much as he is so matured above his age. Even you both probably miss some of his antics until you watch the videos. Keep it up. Dennis and Vikki McCann
That’s awesome! Safe travels and hopefully you get a good amount of tine to really explore…. We’ll get the permits to check out Arnhem Land next visit as well - that looks incredible too 😊👍
I have to say, your cinematography, and your video editing, has stepped up a notch. Excellent video - I held my breath with the Cahill footage; and yet the whole video (aerial, underwater, slow motion nature shots) was breathtaking. Plus a little bit of… cruising along with the music, the music stops and walking out to the front of the car for a quick repair - great advice and lessons along the way👍🏻.
Thanks Rebecca! Kakadu was amazing, such an incredible environment and we had sooooo much footage to scrub through for the episode! It’s hard to not overshoot in such an epic place lol!
What a brilliant episode. Full of perfectly timed information as we will be staying at Cooinda from Monday for 5 days. Ubirr and Cahills Crossing are definitely on the list. Can't wait :)
What a majestic place. Thanks for letting us tag along. Another great post team. We used to see a few crocs when we lived in Weipa in the 1970's but nothing like the numbers you've encountered in this video. Great stuff team. Love it.
Another superb episode, with breathtaking cinematography! 🎞 Thanks for showing us another stunning part of Oz and your hints and tips! I've been watching from the start and your episodes, skills and storytelling have grown to be better than most mainstream TV! Congrats on the Melbourne TV station showing them! 👏🏻 Cheers Annette 🥂
Also, love how involved Jasper is in your filming of your Aussie adventures, what a bright young fella, no better education than travelling the versatile lands & cities within Australia. 💗🙌💗
Hi guys, once again fantastic ep. you do such a great job showing where to go, we look forward to the next ep and finding out about the upgrades I do take great interest on your stuff and upgrades of what works and doesn’t thank so much for all you do … Sandra and daryl Canberra .. 😷👍💉
I was up there on an Army exercise in 1995 when a tourist leaned out the back window of a Landcruiser to take a happy snap and that was the end of him. Gotta be careful at that spot. All those rocks were not there back then.
Keep up the good info love watching you all having a great adventure can’t believe how much the places have changed ,26 yrs since we’ve been their with the kids.😎
Wow. Amazing video on an amazing place. You guys did very well to see so much in such a short time. Kakadu is right up there as one of our top spots from around Australia. Well done guys.
Yes Kakadu is an amazing place. Ubirr is such a spectacular place. We loved sunset it was magical and spiritual. We can’t wait to go back! Glad Jasper enjoyed the crocs too.
Your better half also on the causeway - move to the left or the like. You would think a couple of posts on the right designating the drop off would be useful. Although Territory folk might think that would spoil the fun.
Amazing, definitely on our list when we are able to hit the road and get out of this lockdown Yes “keep your eyes on the road Dad”. so funny Jasper Would be great to have a run through of your camera equip and accessories that you use 👍 See you next week
Great video! We have just returned from the NT and you have covered off all the places we visited. I have to admit your videos are of a much better quality than our amateur effort. We totally agree with your comments of the quality of the NT National Parks. They are doing a great job with their signposting and track amenities.
@@TheFeelGoodFamily We have returned home to Adelaide and sadly, back to work. Our next trip will be to Tassie if the borders allow us. We actually bumped into you and said hi at the Hot Tamales in Darwin which is a great restaurant btw. Anyhow, have fun & be safe, Darren & Lyn
I've been To Cahills Crossing twice and did not see any crocs. Was a bit disappointed actually. Loved the Yellow Water Cruise. Did a day trip to Arnhem Land. Spent a lot of time in the Territory 11 years ago and have been back a couple of times... I do love it! Still more to explore too. Where did you get the gadget to check your PSI?
@@TheFeelGoodFamily it comes in a bottle (Red) available at hardware I’d imagine.( I get mine from work) . Just squeeze a small amount before you put on nut or whatever and tighten as usual. The Loctite acts as a glue.Available at Bunnings
Great episode, we went there quite a few years ago but made the mistake of hiring a non 4x4 motor home so there was a few places we couldn’t go. Not going to happen next time. Happy trails guys.
That was such an amazing episode to watch. So full of fun, interesting, historical, educational and entertaining. The water pool shots were incredible. You’re a very talented, lovely family. You’re not rookies anymore!!! Why don’t you stay at wonderful areas longer when you’re not time restricted? You’ve travelled so far it seems a shame to always cut your visits short and rush off and onto the next place. 🇬🇧☀️😎👏🏻🌟
Hi Rodney, we mostly use our mobiles for GPS and have a Cel-fi booster, We also have a personal sat device called a Garmin In-Reach (mini) and a couple of 5w UHF radios for comms and if in an emergency - hope this helps 😊👍
It is recognised the Tassie Tiger was endemic to the mainland earlier. It is not surprising, because there was a land bridge (see Gondwana info) with Asia after Noah's flood in 4000 BC -6000 years ago (and , yes Noah's Ark has been found and gets explored more each summer thaw in Eastern Turkey). So it is not surprising the dingo's arrived as well as human migration after the Tower of Babel Incident c3500 BC (5500 years ago near Babylon). When you look at the artistry of places like this you see the Artistry of the Designer, so much so that no human artist or interior designer could come close to replicate. Thanks for sharing how easy it is to visit and the hints.
Loved the episode guys. The travels keep getting epic. In the market for a camera. What camera and microphone are you guys using to shoot this please? Love the creativity behind it.
@@TheFeelGoodFamily thanks heaps Paul, Katie and Jasper for being our travel guides and taking us with you! Will look at the canon M50. Any lens recommendations?
Hi Dan, depends a lot on budget and use - could be worth actually checking out the Sony Z1…. Looks amazing and a good option to the Canon M50 - our thoughts now would be to look at a canon with better lens options like a Canon 6D - Sony also have some amazing cameras in this higher price range too…. Once you work out if you want a vlog cam or a more versatile cam (that can use better lens’ for shooting wildlife etc) check our RU-vid reviews where they pitch cameras against each other 👍😊 good luck!
Yes in some areas - we suggest getting on the parks and wildlife websites in each state to see what is allowed, what permits can be obtained (sometimes very expensive and long lead times), and go from there 🙌🇦🇺🏕️🍻
