In my opinion, Naruto is slept on because the amount of fillers in the anime and Boruto. Kakashi is a Chad, hands down, and he has one of the most tragic backstorys in any anime. He should’ve been a villain with the amount of crap he’s suffered through. If he was born as an Uchiha, he would be stronger than Madara with the amount of pain hes suffered lol. I really like Gogo and newer series are pretty good, but Naruto is part of the big three for a reason. There’s not many series that do what Naruto did. The world of Naruto is huge with endless amount of history, lore, and world building.

I feel like for the longest time it was considered the best or most successful out of the big 3 during the 2010s. So now it’s over and can’t “defend itself” it’s just the show that ppl be like “well it wasn’t THAT GOOD” and use it to prop up other shows to give them backbone.

Kakashi is the man, the legend, the moment. Honestly my favorite character in the whole anime series and my guy is so overlooked. I feel like Obito, Madara and Itachi are so overhyped (even though I know they are impressive and I don't deny it) while Kakashi is out there fighting non stop for what is right, living a lonely life full of regret and pain but hiding it to do his job and set an example for the new generations. Always showing up to help and giving it his all with no guarantee he would make it out alive. I really wish they'd given him a family of his own so he could eventually settle down and know firshand what it's like to receive uncondiniotal love and support cause he deserves it.
