Hmmm...IDK about that. It could be that or it could be that they were lovers. Ninjas live secret lives. That holds especially true for rouge ninjas. The older and more experienced ninja never seem to judge anyone's personal relationship and children are not focused on the physical act of love making btwn 2 people. Naruto called Haku, "big-sis" as an honorific believing that Haku was female. Zabuza found Haku abandoned, living on the street like many real world LGBQ teens whose family would not accept them.There is enough subtext in the story to support that Zabuza and Haku were in a physical relationship as much as there was supporting Asuma & Kurini's relationship. Perhaps they were not physical lovers. Perhaps Haku was a ladyboy who was in love w/ Zazuba for rescuing him from loneliness and being alone in the world and that admiration developed into an unrequited love. It could be that Zabuza originally viewed Haku as a tool he could manipulate then over time he realized that Haku was more than that to him but couldn't love him the same way in return due to his own sexual proclivities. Unless Kishimoto clearly defined their relationship, he did a brilliantly subtle way of leaving it up for interpretation.

Kishimoto seemed to say in an old interview that he wrote them as a yaoi couple, that is, their couple is more romantic in essence (Haku is probably in love, most likely unrequitedly in a romantic sense, and Zauza has more platonic feelings for him), but since Haku is very young, then in the plot this is expressed more platonically. This is a reference to the history of Japan, where older men had relationships with younger boys if they looked like women. Japanese websites have a lot of information about this

They're talking about how he supposedly created the jutsu specifically for Naruto to use in the future, which doesn't really make sense. Even though he made Naruto a jinchuuriki, he wasn't planning all that out. There are more details about rasengans creation in Minato's one-shot.
