a bloody nobody struggled to death for a rich noblewoman, the woman did nothing for return but saying u r useful, i will remember you, and all the nobody here are saying this is a beautiful story?
There was a time here in the Philippines where motorcycles with huge speakers were all the craze, I heard this song and it instantly stuck into my mind like a worm that dug itself too deep into my brain. Then I heard about Kara no Kyoukai from my Nasu-fan friends, those bastards pushed me into a hole I am too weak to climb up from.
English for random non-Filipinos: It's good that there's a fellow countryman who likes this especially the fifth part of KnK. It's overshadowed by the Fate/ franchise and Demon Slayer because they're all made by Ufotable and KnK is the 1st usage of cgi that elevated the studio to new heights.(Tsukihime and original Stay Night adaptation when).
Thankful that whenever I have a song stuck in my head that I don't like. I automatically start singing this in my mind and immediately resets my brain tunes.
Aqui desde Lima, Perú un fan de todo Kara no Kyoukai, de Studio UFOTABLE y de toda banda sonora compuesta por Yuki Kajiura e interpretada por Kalafina!💜
I just rediscovered Maya's voice again watching this song. Listen to her solo from 0:57 and hear her "a" vowel at the end of the phrase "bokura ni dekiru koto wa tada" around 0:59. I have learned to listen even closer to vocals and I just noticed her technique (dynamics and vibrato) extending that last "a" in such a beautiful way and unique way. She had more skill than we were able to eventually hear unfortunately, especially as her voice would have matured. 😔😔😑 Even at 1:13 she added in emotion to the lyrics with going to that breathy tone on the lyric (romanji): "Zetsubou no amasa", which it seems talks about running but not catching up to someone, so she's expressing the tiredness / futile effort in her voice. That's the kind of thing Hikaru would do, so we would have had two word-painters in the group if she hadn't left. I can only imagine how we would have heard some of the emotional / epic songs like "Hikarifuru", "Serenato", "Sandpiper", "Magia", and so on, with Maya taking lead solos and all the expression she would add. Even song that would have Hikaru giving a brighter tone, and Maya a warmer tone, and they could even have juxtaposed Hikaru/Maya with Keiko/Wakana for some song ideas we will never know. 🤕 1:56 The difference in Keiko's last 3 notes here (because Wakana was coming in to pick up the lead and Keiko harmonized with her). 🥰 In lives post-Maya, Keiko takes the entire section as a solo (and so takes those 3 notes that Wakana originally took). All those little changes matter.
Just another layer of word-painting, at 1:13 she's singing about "the sweetness of despair", specifically when she's singing "amasa (sweetness)" she used the breathy tone to sound sweeter. But, yeah, same here. I can only imagine how Kalafina would have been if she didn't leave.
Mujun Rasen is just a masterpiece. I kinda like the seventh film more because it's more a about Kokutou, Shiki and their feelings and the end destroyed me. But this music makes it all even better.
The lyrics used to encourage me so much to go to high school while I hated this place. sprinter, because I had to run, but what the lyrics said give me courage. "Hitori ja nai"

Series* I mean you don't view each episode of Hellsing ultimate as their own movie just because they're 40-50 minutes long... I feel like alot of the bad ratings this show gets are from people watching it as 7 individual movies rather than 1 series consisting of 7 movies, which is what it actually is... people watch 1 movie and expect it to make complete sense on it's own, but you need to watch all the movies to fully understand... what they basically did was to make 7 really long episodes rather than 25-30(ish) short ones... anyway point was that the entire series is great, not just 1 movie in the series...
Code Talker you can but you wouldn't go ahead and say episode 1-3 of (insert amazing anime here) where bad without watching the rest of the show... at the end of the day it's a series and should be viewed as a series not as seperate movies...
Code Talker the point I'm making is that judging a single movie in a series of 7 movies where the story overlaps between the movies makes little sense... you can look objectively at the movie/episode individually and judge it based on many things but taken out of the context of the rest of the show a narrative that would make sense in the grand scheme of things may not make any sense at all when you look at it individually
Code Talker when it comes to Kara No Kyoukai it's a series where many of the movies make little sense on their own and to fully understand the plot you need to watch the entire series... if you watch the second star wars movie on it's own without seing the other two movies it will not be that good as it will have many plot holes etc... that again was my point, I feel like alot of people give Kara No Kyoukai bad bad rating because they can't make sense of it and then it turns out they never actually watched the entire series and they judged the movie as a standalone movie meant to be it's own story...
This is a song of abandoned dolls in an old mansion. The song is addressed to a girl who lived there. "We're alive. We're here. I'm calling your name."
The song’s name and the fast bpm frim the electric guitar, synths and drums in the beginning really give off the feeling that you’re sprinting for life
I dreamed an impossible dream where I met you It was merely an eternity passing in a second I'm calling to you I want to raise you up and protect you Feeling even your outstretched fingers, having embraced you like that Until my strength is exhausted, I'll effortlessly succeed in continuing to scream, what's wrong with that?

I was a fan of kalafina for a long time First song i heard was oblivious And the first time i heard this one, was on a madoka magika amv, it gave me goosebumps, (video has since been taken down) But shortly after that i found a cd of kalafina, (it was the only one so yay) and thats really hard to come by in america But since cds are just a forgot realm of ancient past, i have added every single one of their songs on this phone So far my 3 favorites are sprinter, kyrie, and progressive
aun recuerdo como sonó en el concierto y me digo a mi misma que valió la pena ir a su concierto , sin duda lo mejor que pude haber vivido en mi vida , y si regresan , volveré a cantar esta canción ....

@@ravenbloom6732 what i curious is, she ever performed "ARIA" and "Kizuato" live wearing Sprinter MV outfit on stage but there is no evidence of she sings "Sprinter" live even both songs are promoted at same moment? i believe there is unreleased video of her singing Sprinter live on stage
I sincerely believe this is the best song of all time. Not Bohemian Rhapsody, not Stairway to Heaven (tho they are all masterpieces), not anything, but this.
