i dunno you are joking or not, but if i remember correctly, Kajiura did smoke in the past... and imho her songs in the past are much more better than recent songs. even Kalafina and FJ songs aren't so magical anymore...

I get the impression that she summoned her most creative expression because Garden of Sinners was such an atmospheric,mystical, and high-profile series, she might have taken it more seriously than any of her more recent works.

well maybe that's true, in KnK's case... i don't watch old anime featuring her, but i love her songs in those anime. like, salva nos, ensei and mezame, cosette's songs and many more. i don't really like her works in SAO (even if they have Remi, and i like Remi) or Fate/Zero, a a small bit of Pandora Hearts. but for me Madoka is great too. well the atmosphere of the anime certainly affect the song, but because i dont watch old songs, i can't say for sure XD

These days, she tends to work on subpar anime. How can there be depth in music that describes a work when that work lacks any depth or subtlety?

Lain Lin Honestly I've never seen the Fate series But I have watched all of Garden of Sinners. And I'm surprised most if not a large majority of people haven't seen or heard of it.

+ultris07 Probably due to them being movies. Anime movies usually don't have the biggest fanbase, at least that's what it feels to me.

Honestly I like the 1 hour episodes, it felt more planned out and well paced, showing all that needed to be shown.

ultris07 Loved the movies myself. I think they really did a great job on it. While I get why alot of people dislike movies in general, they are missing out on so much. On topic of movies, seen Mardock Scramble? Another movie series I find pretty stunning. As for Kara no Kyoukai, I'd say it's also due to them not being in a chronological order and overall a bit confusing. WHile that's something that some find appealing, it also turns off quite a few.

If you want the direct male counterparts to each of these characters, Kiritsugu would replace Shirou. The Saber present is Saber, servant of Kiritsugu, not Saber, servant of Shirou. Not only is she dressed in Kiritsugu's suit, but Saber is also wielding Avalon.

Why 2 character from Fate? In the picture there is only one heroine from the Fate serie, so in the male version also have to be one character... Btw Kiritsugu not rly a main hero so also fail to place him in the male version... So the correct guys for the male version : Sōjūrō, Mikiya, Shiki and Shirou.
