India has been encroaching the Western border of Nepal since long. Recently, in the new map it released, Kalapani of Nepal has been placed inside the borders of India.
According to the treaty of Sugauli done in 1816 AD, Nepal's western border is determined by the river Kali. This river originates from Limpiyadhura, but India has been encroaching more than 400km square of Nepal's land by declaring Kali river's origin to be an artificial pond in Lipu Lekh. Villages such as Kuti, Navi, Gunji, Lipu Lek all has already been encroached by India.
